  1. You got the paypal notice from me, right? About the mini seashell coins. Windrose
  2. What's the purpose of collecting baseball cards? Windrose
  3. There was someone recently who found one of his coins for sale on ebay, and after investigating found the mint had made (at least one) illegal copy of his coin -- who knows how many were made. Windrose
  4. How many jump the shark coins are there? Here's mine. (Just kidding - I'm not making one.) Windrose
  5. Many, many coins. I have a friend at work who loves penguins (in fact his obession is the reason I've come to love penguins). So every time there's a coin with a penguin on it I try to get two (one for me and one for him). His wife loves Pugs, so I got her one of the Pug coins. And I gave them a couple of each personal coin I had made. And, of course, family and friends all got several copies of each of my personal coins. Windrose
  6. Here's a recent topic that discussed various programs available. It should answer your questions. Windrose
  7. wow, that is so cool. Another coin to drool over and another "secret" cacher to stalk. The Bug Crew (and I) have a cache called "All That Glitters and Crawls" on a trail near the "Rainbow's End" Playscape. Sure hope the Geo_Leprechaun pays a visit to Michigan. Windrose
  8. That's cool, I didn't know that. I'll have to share this info with my cousin (who does own a pig farm) -- but they're not rich - just muddling through from day to day - like the rest of us. Windrose
  9. O.K., but what's up with the pig? I didn't know pigs were considered good luck. I could see a rabbit (but then again how lucky can a "lucky rabbit's foot" be -- when the rabbit had four and still died. Windrose
  10. Well, to truly symbolize jumping the shark, shouldn't there be several versions? Imagine if everyone came out with a jump the shark coin That would be "jumping the shark". Windrose
  11. A big thank you to our mods for putting up with us over-zealous, obsessed, opinionated, crazed collectors. Windrose (edited for spelling)
  12. Thanks to Lemon Fresh Dog, for all he's done to promote coins in caches. Windrose
  13. I also agree that Glennk721 is a great guy, very kind and giving to others. And lets not forget the Easter Geocoin Bunny . Thank you for giving to the community. Windrose
  14. The mods here are a little biased... Glad someone else noticed. Mike bye-bye.
  15. Well I think that calls for this to get locked down.
  16. No one has trashed him (at least this time around). Just stating facts about his sales tactics. Windrose
  17. Just wanted to let everyone know that all coins have been shipped. A big batch went out yesterday, and the last few trades went out this morning. There are still a couple of orders that haven't been paid for yet, but everything else is in the mail, and hopefully should be arriving any day. Thanks for all the trades and purchases. Windrose
  18. No thank you, too much bad history. Windrose
  19. I would also like to trade for one. Windrose
  20. The Bug Crew are my grandkids (Noah, 7 and Marisa, 6) and my Godchildren (Oterria, 4 and Angel, 11). They've been caching with me since they were babies (well, Angel only started going with us last year, but she's definately hooked). They have their own travel bug ("Am I Bugging You?" TB575A), caching names (Spider Boy, Cricket, June Bug, Miss Grasshopper), their own sig items (wooden hearts with bugs and their names on them), a sig card, and this is their second coin. ((I know, I'm "just slightly" obessive )). Windrose
  21. Just wanted to let everyone know that I sent out most of the trades today, the rest will go out tomorrow. I also sent out the paypal invoices, and I have the coins packaged and will get all of the paid coins into the mail tomorrow also. Thanks everyone for the trades and the purchases. Windrose
  22. Cool. Hey that reminds me -- what happened with that imprompto event we were going to have? We could meet some where Wed, Thurs, or Friday some time after 5:30. Or even Saturday morning. Maybe we could get Sasha (Team Timberwolf) to be there too. Windrose (Edited to add Saturday.)
  23. Thanks everyone for the compliments (and the orders). I'm glad you like them. I wanted to wait until I had the coins in hand before posting them (I used my tax refund to finance them) . And then I offered them for a few days on my local (MiGO) caching forums first. And of course posted a few for sale on ebay too. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to GW5, but I'm sure the copper will last a long time (since I hardly get to travel at all). I'm hoping to make it to the next Midwest Geobash. Windrose
