  1. Happy Holidays to one & all! In the new year: May all your travels be lined with Geocaching Adventures with large containers filled with cool swag, no DNF's and no soggy logbooks.
  2. For any geocachers planning a cemetery cache hide within the state of Kentucky: Please feel free to write ahead to me at bluegrassreviewer@gmail.com if you have concerns about your geocache being publishable. In general, cemetery caches hidden within Kentucky are fine as long as they are in a respectful location away from graves. Specific permission from the caretaker is always the best idea. Be prepared for me to ask for specific details about your cache hide if it is within a cemetery. I suggest putting any and all pertinent information about any hide within a Reviewer Note - it typically helps to get your cache published quicker and avoid any misunderstandings.
  3. I had a similar situation with a KY cache hider. He was able to get his cache published and still point cachers to the point of interest by using the "Reference Point" waypoint option. Also of note: historical markers are their own category on Waymarking. I really do not see how the proximity guideline is "hurting" the quality of geocaches. GCY5TH
  4. This is an official gray area; one of many here at geocaching.com. I have not finished the review of this cache yet, so reserve judgement. The Man In Charge has much larger issues than this to rule on, it is best handled on a case-by-case basis by the reviewers at the present time. Thank you for your interest.
  5. My response, for all who are interested: Greetings SG-MIN, Thank you for your patience. I have viewed your forum topic discussion on this issue. Since I am a conservative reviewer, I still do not feel the sticker is appropriate. As you have conflicting answers from two reviewers, I will leave this portion of the cache hunt up to your discretion. If you do decide to go with the sticker and I get even one complaint, I will have to archive the cache. I appreciate the amount of thought and planning that you have put into this hide. Please let me know what you decide about this stage either way. I will begin the mapping process tonight, and if all goes well it may be published as early as tomorrow. Sincerely, Bluegrass Reviewer Geocaching.com Volunteer
