  1. Is that a macro or a menu option? I've been wondering how to do the same thing. Menu option. There's a column for corrected coordinates. View >Add/Remove Column >Corrected Coordinates indicator Double click the column and add the coordinates. GSAK will keep the original coordinates. (They sometimes are the suggested Parking for the cache!) Thank you - I'll have a play later

  3. That might be it, I've had the same problem and have also just renewed.
  4. That looks pretty awesome - yet another reason to go back to Iceland I don't generally use GC codes but in the situation you describe I think I would, it'd make it a lot quicker to look up the cache and when you're on holiday you don't want to waste too much time planning and researching.

  6. you're wonderful working for me on firefox 3.6.26 for mac
  7. There's also this one not too far away which was great fun. From the looks of some of the other caches nearby it's worth a trip to Cumbernauld (not something you hear often...)
  8. There's an excellent article about Geocaching in the current edition of The Green Parent Magazine. Doesn't appear to be available online but worth having a look at
  9. I found out about geocaching through bookcrossing as well, I've had quite a few catches from books left in caches. It's hard to find caches big enough to leave books in though
  10. Are you from Ayr by any chance? I was at an event there last night, you might also like to check out GC Ayrshire - friendly bunch the Ayrshire cachers
  11. Hey Conor, Welcome, I'm in Glasgow too Can't give you much advice on the GPS as I use probably the most basic model, yellow etrex - Tiso's used to hire them out for the day, maybe still do, if you want to give it a try. Most of the caches around the city are micros or nanos (ie, really small) so I'd suggest avoiding those for your first few hunts, maybe head out a wee bit. I'd offer to meet up and show you the ropes but am going to be away with work for the next couple of months, feel free to get in touch if you've any questions though. Happy caching, be warned - it's seriously addictive!
  12. There seem to be a lot of new caches in Riga since I was there last year. I enjoyed Riga Dome Church (GC130WC), Bastejkalns strikes again(GCX1K5) and Great Cemetery (GCQDQZ) which is out the city a bit but worth a visit.
  13. Female here. I drag my other half along quite a lot though, I think he enjoys it really (apart from all the fighting about where to park) but he won't admit it That story does sound scary, good idea though (for a story that is )
  14. I'm planning on doing Bluebell Woods next week, I'll pick the TB up while I'm there.
