Love that rug - when are we going to see it on the shopping site? My cat loves to sharpen his claws on my carpet - I think this is the closest I'd get him to geo-caching.

I'm a noob - who hasn't placed a cache yet, but I think I'd probably prefer more of a description of the faults of a cache (no pencil, cache has become nest for angry geese/africanized honey bees/fire ants, etc) than just a DPM. Okay, maybe a description with the DPM. Just my .02.

I too am a newbie with the same concern. So far, if I have that problem, I log it as did not find, then watch the cache and if someone else finds it after me, I at least know it wasn't muggled. Then I try it again with a fresh perspective and sometimes it justs pops out where it should be. I must be a masochist because I love the feeling I get when I slap my head and go "Duh - of course thats where it is".

I am still pretty new to this, but I have been watching a cache in my area that was archived in hopes that it would be re-started again. It would be a nice feature to see who is watching which caches, especially if you were the owner.

Hi - My handle is golem3. Live near Kalamazoo Michigan. Started geo-caching a while ago, but there weren't a lot of caches near where I was living, so dropped out for a bit. Moved down here, and got back into it. Lately, I've been dating a couple of women and we go caching a lot. It is great for learning about my new environment. I am hoping to start my own cache sometime after finding my 20th cache. My thanks to everyone who has a cache I've found or have yet to find.
