  1. Ah, ok, that makes sense. Thanks there dude for that info. I'm not trying to cheat on the logs I just thought it wouldbe nice to show where the bug actually did start from but I take your point. Matt.
  2. Lots of views but no opinions... is this possible? Matt.
  3. Hi BlueDeuce, Thanks, good plan, hadn't thought of that :-) Can you answer another question I have? If I want to change the origin of my TB (See my other post for this) how can I do this? I want to do it because I would like to log it's correct miles from birth (as it were), not just from where I first took it. Matt.
  4. Some idiot "Discovered" my travel bug, then put it in another Cache and couldn't "drop it off" because it wasn't in their niventory anymore?????????? Have emailed them to get them to sort it out. Matt.
  5. Hi, I posted this on another thread but didn't get any replies :-( I launched my very first travel bug a few weeks ago. I live in South Wales United Kingdom and I placed it in a cache in Alaska while on holiday there (vacation for all you the other side of the pond :-). I recently noticed that a lot of people 'dip' their TB's somewhere near home before they take it somewhere else to log the miles. I didn't do this so the milage for my TB starts in Alaska and not at my home in the UK. Can I alter the Origin of my TB to show the true miles, even though the TB has been moved around some other caches already? Regards, Matt.
  6. You can buy a TB Passport from one of the Geocaching online stores, this has all the relevant info on it and space to writ your own notes. There is a link on the main site to one in your country. They probably sell them wherever you got your TB from. Matt.
  7. When you look at your account details (click on your name when you log in) you will see a list of cache's you've visited and Travel Bug's you have found. This is YOUR inventory. Each cahce has it's own inventory which lists what trackable items it currently contains (or SHOULD currently contain). Hope this helps. Matt.
  8. Hi everyone, my first post in here :-) This is relevant to this thread by the way. I launched my very first travel bug a few weeks ago. Can I alter the Origin of my TB to show the true miles, even though the TB has been moved once already? Regards, Matt.
