Regarding the automated emails when a log or image is deleted, was this not already the case previously? Or am I thinking of just for deleting an image? I do like that if a log is deleted that the log author is notified.

For many months now, most of the photos sent to me through the Message Center come in such poor quality that I cannot see anyone's face or the details of there EarthCache photo. There is not difference between viewing the messages in the app or on the website using Chrome. Is this a know issue? Screenshot of a received EarthCache photo attached.

As the final day for benchmarks is here, I am voicing my disagreement with this decision once again. I have tried Waymarking as suggested and find it not to be user friendly. There obviously have been no resources devoted to upgrading it. The answer from HQ on every suggestion in this forum has been a firm "NO" so I don't expect any change of direction. Sad day that this business has chosen to cater more to short-term members and ignore the please and suggestions of those who found this part of the activity to be interesting for many years.

That means that there will be an abrupt shutdown sometime within the two months. I would like to know as we approach the date as I do not plan to shut down my benchmark hunting and logging until the very end.

Can we at least get a day or two notice of the shutdown of logging. Benchmarking was never added to the app so logging in the field is not easy. I would not want to spend my day trying to find a precious few more benchmarks only to not be able to log them when I get home.

Benchmarking has been a regular part of all of our caching trips for years. I don't mind that the logging process was never upgraded because it was worth it to me. We have enjoyed finding so many types and so many old ones. Now we get a warning that it is all going away in two months or less. That is a very short time for many who are working on challenges involving benchmarks. For me it is a very short time to achieve personal milestone goals. Poorly conceived and poorly communicated decision in my opinion.
