  1. McLean & Cooper? Are you the one who derailed the train yesterday?

  3. quote:Originally posted by Chris&Cindy: LMAO are you saying my wife is big? No no no no no. Just saying that anyone who will tromp through a swamp & then hike over a mile into uncharted forest in her nursing scrubs has immediately earned the status of Master Cacher
  4. I had this horrible nightmare where Chris was being chased by Rosie through the woods near the 4x4 Offroad Adventure. I won't go into details, but -shudder- it was a bad scene.
  5. quote:Originally posted by Chris&Cindy:How many finds does it take to not be a newbie? Or more importantly how big do you have to be to not be called one to your face LOL If your number of hides is 'X', then you need to have (pi(X)/.5(e))+3 finds to not be considered a newbie. For you that works out to about 79.288992 finds. Oh. We'd never call Cindy a newbie.
  6. I get the feeling that there will be more folks racing to this one after the last Buddha is placed than there were going for the Magellan'Treasure Hunt' boxes.
  7. Hey! All you new cachers! We expect to see you at this little Wing-Ding, too! Put it on your calendar, load the coordinates into your GPS. Oh, don't be offended when Chuckie inadvertantly calls you a newbie.
  8. That's an odd thing to find. You could read the logs for the cache where you found the tag & try to determine who left the tag. After that, you could e-mail that person & ask if they actually meant to leave an unactivated tag without the activation code.
  9. Many of the really good cache find stories are greatly enhanced by the cacher's previous DNF logs. I leave my DNFs & log a fresh entry for each attempt at finding a cache.
  10. The opening vignette is great. Good job, Criminal.
  11. I have already teleported (through irregular menas) a new DWG unit, prefereably the rechargeable AMD wrist watch model with the GRC79 induction motor, four I80200 warp stabilizers, 512GB of SRAM and the menu driven GUI with front panel XID display to those coordinates. I fear that it may have been picked up by the wrong time traveler, though. My contact was named Wilson....
  12. quote:Originally posted by JoGPS:It does not look like ya want anyone to come from out of town its to far in the middle of the week, maybe next time you will do it on a weekend………..JOE Unless Jamie has a new work schedule when he gets back from Central America, the only time we get to talk caching with him in person is on week-nights. I'm sure we'll have another weekend gathering pretty soon. Before it gets cold again, anyhow...
  13. Jamie, I'll buy you your first wing as a 'welcome back' gift.
  14. Ah! Tis a sad day in Memphis. Who will get the FTF's now? You'll never know who it will be... Bugman? CWL? C&C Music Factory? Gadzooks! The whole world has been thrown into disarray! Watch out, Houston. MD is on the way...
  15. Chiggers are quite unpleasent. I got into a bunch of them last weekend. Ugh. Benedryl cream seems to work well on them & they're healing nicely, now.
  16. quote:Originally posted by Maliberry:Hmm....where are all the women in those pictures? We're allowed in the club, right? Female cachers are notoriously camera-shy.
  17. Pics from last time we did the Hot Wings thing... <B>Half the crowd</B> <B>Jamie with a cache full of wings</B> <B>Mmmmm! Wings good!</B>
  18. Need......... wings........... getting...... too weak......... to............. cache.......
  19. Hey! 4x4 Lightning is on track for a 3rd place finish (maybe). It's in a cache right on I-80 in Utah (Sand Hedge - An I-80 Adventure). Is it possible that he may make it to Pheromone any time soon?
  20. I think it's a pretty cool idea to place a marker of some type at the site of the 'original' cache. I just hit Un-Original last week and I thought it was a pretty good memorial itself, but a marker down the hill & closer to the road would be cool. I don't know what your plans for the marker are, but a benchmark type of setting might work out nicely in that area.
  21. Anybody heard from BlodLizrd since swamp hunt day? Hope he didn't get malaria...
  22. Ok, so when is it going to happen, Mr. Lizrd? We're getting hungry.
  23. Holy Smokes! Flying back into town last night, I couldn't pick out any landmarks as we were coming in to land. Massive areas inside the 240 loop are still dark. Driving to work today, I got to see some of the damage. Glad I was out of town for this one, guys!
