  1. I see they are also a minor sponser of Jeff Green's #66 car in Nascar. Rich
  2. I have my 60CSx mounted on my Harley Davidson, in the standard Garmin handlebar mount with no issues or complaints.
  3. In cachemate, the logs are listed by date. On the screen of your Palm, when looking at the logs, select the date, and you will see a listing of dates that the other logs were recorded. Select a date to see that particular log. Hope I am not confusing you. Rich
  4. I see on the circuit city store web page they have the Z22 for $99 with a $25 rebate, $74 not bad...
  5. Live outside of Auburn....... Rich
  6. I just mounted mine to my Road King with the garmin mount. Seems to be holding ok, I was however nervous about the unit popping out of the mount. I may put a rubber band around the bottom of the unit just to be on the safe side. I do have the unit wired to the bike so I can keep the backlighting on at all times, so maybe if it did pop out of the mount the power cord would help hold it before it hits the ground. Rich
  7. Quoting.... """""I wish Garmin would package the map-software with their GPS's in a "plus" package like Lowrance... """" Check out gps discount, they offer such packages for the garmin 60csx and the cx, at an extremely attractive price. Free fed ex shipping. Got mine from them 3 weeks ago (60csx) and could not be happier...... Rich
  8. Saw this somewhere: There are 10 types of people, those who understand binary, and those that do not.
  9. Not sure where you live, but the local Bass Pro shops store had reconditioned 72's for $99.
  10. I also ordered a 60CSx Monday afternoon from GPSDiscount, it was delivered Wednesday afternoon. The unit itself was the same price as everywhere else, however it was a deal if, like me, you wanted the Auto Kit and software. I wish it were the City Navagator software, as I understand the City Select is being discontinued. Quite a difference from my GPS II+ and my work provided GPS 72. The free fed-ex shipping and T-shirt were nice little extras.....
  11. I am looking to upgrade my GPSII+ (about time, right?) and am leaning toward the new 60 series. I am unsure if I really need the compass and altitude function of the 60CSx. Is that the only difference? What do you think? It seems to be a $50 feature, and maybe I should but that money towards a bigger micrsSD card? But then again, more bells and whistles means more fun, right! Thanks for any opinions you might have. Rich
  12. Not to be a smarty pants, but you will need a microSD and not a miniSD....
