  1. I personally find it a bit unfair that Kosovo is not recognised within the Geocaching Statistics. As someone who loves travelling, both Serbia and Kosovo are on my to-visit list at some point in the next few years. Kosovo is recognised as a country by the United States and I believe at least over 100 UN members. Western Sahara, Taiwan and Palestine are all states with limited or less recognition by other nations. Plus Kosovo has it's own boarder on the map that is currently impossible to fill. Put it this way, if places like Sark can get their own 'country' status within Groundspeak, surely Kosovo could as well?
  2. I was looking through the geocaching search bar and I noticed this. Has anyone else got this AR Cache and is it likely to be a new cache type?
  3. I don't know, I'm very mixed minded on that opinion because in some ways, yeah, they should but at the same time, it feels like a completely different game to me. I see you leave just one find, I think this is also a good way of doing things as I feel AL wouldn't get as much stick against them if they only counted for one find instead of five. But each to their own of course. I have no problem with them as I enjoy finding them and learning new things. Yesterday, I did a set around a town called Kenilworth, a town of which I've lived near to for nearly 23 years. And i learnt a lot that I never knew before. So with this, I do see it from both points of view. With the bonus caches, they're physical container finds, at least the few I've found have been anyway. So whenever I write my find it log, I log it as mmmPIZZA and I explain to them that mPZLabs is the account I've found the labs on. I usually explain it in a less confusing manner than that, I promise ;) I've only done a couple of bonus finds so far as my lab total is only 34. But the COs of the couple of bonus caches I've found haven't had a problem with me using two accounts so far. They're just pleased that I write a nice log and spent the time doing their labs :D That is also why I made sure my lab account name was mPZLabs. mPZ is my shorten version of my main name as I can't always write mmmPIZZA in a small log book. And all my online logs end with the quote "All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ". So people always know it's me (hopefully) ;)
  4. Hello all. I wanted to ask a question and see what others have done or what others think of this. I personally see Adventure Labs as a separate game to the main Geocaching game we all know and love. And I felt like AL finds should have personally count to my total finds. So I made a second account and I simply log any adventure labs on that account. I was wondering if anyone else did this as well? Or wether others think it is pointless, etc. I’m just curious to what others think really. My accounts: mmmPIZZA - All geocache finds except ALs mPZLabs - Only adventure lab finds
  5. This is why I personally find my adventure labs finds on a separate account. I don’t feel right them adding to my main cache find total. If I’m going to find five caches, I’d rather they be physical, great hides than five words I can input. I do find the bonus caches and log them as normal but that’s because they’re physical containers. Every adventure lab find for me is logged via my other account as to me, it’s a different game
  6. So my take on adventure labs is that, yes, I do enjoy them. But they don’t feel like geocaches to me. They feel like a totally separate game. So I made a second geocaching account; mPZLabs, to log my adventure lab finds on. I know some people might view this as pointless which is fair enough. But I personally felt like it was the right thing to do for me. I can enjoy Geocaching the traditional way we all know and love under my normal name, and also enjoy adventure labs in a different light
  7. Will be adding Mexico and California next month! (I know CA isn't a country but hey-ho!)
  8. I currently have 12 countries on my list: United Kingdom, United States, Ireland, Spain, The Netherlands, France, Belgium, Antigua & Barbuda, Denmark, plus I also have the territories of Anguilla, Saint Martin & Sint Maarten (Netherland Antilles). Due to add Cyprus in November and hopefully, Hungary in January.
  9. So I've been looking for around 20 minutes on the new update and I can't find #1 How to upload a cover photo/banner image and #2 How to display DNFs Any ideas how to do this?
  10. There are a few countries that I have visited where I didn't find a cache. Kenya, Zambia, Norway, and ironically, Canada are on that list. I'll be adding Ireland to my countries list in two weeks. I went to Dublin for a day-trip with my girlfriend back in February. Had the pleasure of adding 8 caches and Ireland to my list. Dublin is a really nice place
  11. I was wondering, who has the most finds in different countries. According to Groundspeak, there are over 200 and I'd be amazed if someone has collected them all. But the most I've seen is a user with 71 (as of May 2016). Which is a lot. I currently have 10 (as of May 2016), which will be upped to 12 in two weeks time with a daytrip to Denmark. So the question is, who has the most countries? Could it be you?
  12. I've had the pleasure of caching in all the countries I've visited. I've found caches in 10 countries and next month, it will be 11 when I add Denmark to my list!
  13. Link has been added, thanks for the Canada Flag and the South Africa Flag and the Japan Flag. Going well so far
  14. Hello everyone I'm a geocacher from England who's obsessed with travel. I have a flag counter on my profile and would love to get as many flags as possible. My link ^^^^This link should go straight to my profile. Many Thanks and Happy Caching
  15. Added UK to your profile
  16. Quite frankly, I'm just really confused on what the Lab Caches will and won't count for, not that i'll likely find any but still :S
  17. To achieve a milestone that high is just amazing. I'd love to find that many but as a teenager who is unable to drive and is starting college soon, I think it will have to wait Congrats to him though!
