  1. I'm still pretty new to this and actually just got a gps. Until now I've been using my iPhone app which is super user friendly and I've also only been a basic member. All the premium member features are new to me (like 24 hours new) so I'm not sure what a bookmark is. I know I've read about it at some point but it didn't stick with me I guess. Can I create my own bookmark list?
  2. Thanks! I did find the user and all of the caches in the series I was looking for. But is there now a way I can turn this into a pocket query?
  3. I would like to browse through all of the caches in a particular "series" and possibly create a pq out of these caches. I can not figure out how to find a listing of all the caches in this series without keyword searching "weird" and then having to scroll through tons of results. I am specifically looking for the Weird SC series. But would also like to browse any other series or challenges in my area/state. Thanks!
  4. Duh!! I knew it would be a simple answer but for some reason I couldn't wrap my head around it. I never even considered the caches on my gps needing to be updated! I assume this goes for their logs as well. Which make sense now thank you for all your help!
  5. I think to avoid the confusion I will only build pqs of less than 500. I have figured everything out finally and added them to my Magellan. The only question I have left and I know it was gone over in the tutorial video on gc.com, but I'm just not following, why do you have to choose a day to have the pq generated on? it also says "you can set them to run once or automatically on a daily or weekly basis", Why would this need to be done? I'm just not really understanding. Thanks everyone for your help. Ive been a premium member for maybe 24 hours so I am trying to get it all figured out!!
  6. I'm sorry. It's a magellan explorist gc. And that sounds extremely simple. Can't wait to get home and give it another try! Thank you for all your help!
  7. I have read the tutorial you posted along with watching a video on geocaching.com. I'm still pretty confused but I have managed to create a pocket query. Now I just can not figure out how to send that info to my gps.
  8. I can not figure out how to send more than one cache to my gps at a time....i have checked the boxes to the left of the listed caches but when i hit the "send to gps" button it will only send the cache that im clicking next to. Is there something Im doing wrong?? it is getting old having to switch from screen to screen as im working my way down the list. Someone please tell me how to make this easier! thanks!!
