Thanks for the information. I was on vacation so sorry for the slow response. As it turns out the information did get loaded. Like mentioned above it didn't appear on the waypoints since it was for a different part of the state. It appears there isn't a beep to confirm the down loads. Must be a 76CS thing since my map 76S did confirm the down load.

This is the first time that I am attempting to use Easy GPS on a new Map 76CS. I was able to download maps from the Mapsource Topo CD via USB with no problems. When I try to download from Easy GPS the PC screen appears to send it but I never get a transfer complete message on the GPS. I have checked users guides etc and it appears to be set up right. Any ideas on what I am missing? I am using Easy GPS version 1.3.7 which I just downloaded last week. Thanks

Hi - Before this unit goes on E-bay I thought I would offer it here first. I have upgraded and bought 2 new Map 76CS units. The current unit was bought new back in spring of 2003. The unit has no scratches in the display but does have one small scratch on the top of it. The display has had the PDA screen cover on from day one. The unit will come with the serial cable, wrist strap, user guides and I thik I might even have the box. I'm looking for $200. If you are interested let me know before 12/20 or it will go on e-bay. When I get mine I will be placing one in WI. My plan is to take one of each of the geocoins that I have and use them as a first finders reward. So they will get PA, Canada, Calif, and WA all at once!

Hi - Bad news in my camp. UPS has lost my 5 coins. The package was last received in IL and then poof it disappeared. I have an e-mail into Jerry and Michele. I don't have a lot of hope that the package will be found. Can anyone help out a fellow cacher. I really only need 4 coins. One for me and 3 that I traded and feel bad since I let other cachers down that were counting on the coins. If you can help me out let me know. Thanks, Brian

If you look at your ebay auction you will see there is no buy it now option. Also now you are at $290? So we have $275, $280, $100 and now $290. Hmmmm think I'll pass and buy new for that amount.

Interesting that your title line lists $275, your description states $280 and you put it on ebay with no reserve for $100. Granted it's at $156 now but what price do you really want for it? I can buy a new one for $315!

Hello - I'm in need of some help. A cacher who apparently can't read took my travel bug out of WI and placed it in St. Nicks cache located in Albert Lea MN. The reason this is a problem and I need help is the goal is to visit each county in WI and not to leave the state. It's listed on the tag along with the website. If anyone could rescue my bug and contact me I would appreciate it. I'd like to make arrangements to get the bug back to me. Thanks, Team Golden

I'm looking for two separate items here. The first is I started geocaching in 2002 and I'm looking for a 2002 geocoin that I can keep to mark the start of my geocaching. The second item is I'm going to start collecting geocoins. I have found three so far but those have goals so they have been released. I see that certain parts of the country have coins for their areas. If you would be interested in selling one please contact me. I'm currently working on a design to have my own coins created. We don't see alot of coins here in WI for some reason. Team Golden.

Hello - Apparently my Polaris Magnum travel bug has run out of gas. I am looking for help in rescuing it from a cache called The Legend of Navarino Bob (GC7937). The cache cords. are N44 39.570 W088 32.230. I have tried e-mailing the cache owner to seek assistance and haven't heard back. I figured this would be the next step. If anyone can help my travel bug move on it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Team Golden

For $8 you can't go wrong if it fits your needs. Even if it last a year or 6 months it is worth it! Looks like a nice pack.

I did a search and didn't see anything but I am wondering if anyone knows if I can use the 12 volt adapter with batteries in the unit? If so when you plug the unit in does the 12 volts over ride the batteries? I would hate to remove the batteries each time. Thanks

I have a travel bug who's goal is to make it to each county in the state. I was hoping as counties were visted to list it on the page. When I do this everything appears in paragraph form. I am trying to list each county on a line. Can this be done? I have typed each county on a line to begin with. If you seem my Magnum ATV Travel Bug you will get an understanding of what I am wanting to do. Thanks for the help
