I was able to get "mapsettoolkit" to download and execute??? Uninstalled the old topomaps and everything is back to normal with Mapsource. Thanks for the great maps.

The error message is. MapSetToolKit.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. AppName: mapsettoolkit.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: msvcrt.dll ModVer: 7.0.2600.2180 Offset: 00030c17 Not really comfortable with going into the registry but willing to give it a try. Is it using (run) Regedit? Gary

The maps were installed July 2008 (not sure what version) no uninstall program in the folder. I tried the MapsetToolkit download (only 1.62 beta available) and it will not execute. Thanks for the quick reply.

Hello Ibycus How can I uninstall an old version of your map (TopoMaps) from my pc? I tried the mapupdate the other day and it did something to one of the files. When I try to start Mapsource I get the following message. "There is a problem with the NTDBData installation. Please re-install NTDBData and start MapSource again." I downloaded and installed the newest maps (IbycusTopo) yesterday hoping it would take care of the problem but I still cannot get MapSource to open.

I tried changing the radius setting today in a few PQs and it is not saving the new number. I changed the distance, pressed "Submit information", then scrolled down and seen that the number was changed. Then after pressing "preview the search" and going back to the PQ I see that the distance is back to what it was originally.

GCG6HZ will give you a great view of the suroundings from the top of the hill. GC12W0D & GC13C84 are in the west end with many other caches around. GC129DT along with many others along the river front parks. GC19KY1 east end park where you can see the new arena being built. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Log the cache in as found with your account then log out of GC, then log back in with your wifes account. That worked for us once when we had the same situation.

I've heard of them being made using a paper shredder.

The reason for posting this was to ask if there is a way of bringing the link to everyones attention in an acceptable manner. Not trying to do an end around anyone. Not trying to fool anyone. Just looking to bring attention to the website on the cache page. Thanks again.

Hello all, We tried (unsuccessfully) to add a website link to a cache page we are setting up. Groundspeak would not allow it because of the commercial content it displays. (No problem) Just wondering what the "Related web page?" section in the page setup area is for. Is it possible to refer to the link in this area? If not, does anyone know of a way to refer to a website that would be acceptable? Thanks in advance.
