  1. I have to say today was a great day for my mailbox. I cannot thank you enough YemonYime. This coin easily takes top spot for my favorite coin. Or at least right along side my GSA coin. Very cool. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one picture did not turn out really clear but you get the picture!
  2. Nothing lately in the mailbox. Been really slow around town here. Where can someone get one of those 3 WISE MONKEYS coins? Those are really cool looking!
  3. I missed the sale and wish I hadn't, but even more than that, I hope they make a copper version of this awesome coin!!! In all honesty that is one very cool looking coin. -Dardevle-
  4. I have been meaning to post this but I've been rather busy. I am sooo glad that The Geocoin Secret Agent has reconsidered making a V2 of his/her coin. I have really really enjoyed the time me and my GSA coin have spent together and we have really got to know eachother. I will hopefully update the story I have been telling. Thanks again for reconsidering making your V2 coin. Dardevle
  5. I can not go into too much detail yet but I really do believe in karma. Hopefull I'll be back in this forum to explain why later!! We will see what shows up in my mailbox down the road. But for now...I got this wonderful suprise from lorca.nl today in the mail. It was a card and a Geo.nerd. Thank you so much for the coin and the card. It sure made a GREAT monday at the mailbox for me!!! Those little naked nerds a really cute. Thanks again lorca.nl, it sure put a big smile on my face. Dardevle
  6. Beat me to it! That's just what I was going to say. I agree with this. I'd also would have to agree with this also. I would lean to the artistic versions though. Or maybe cartoonish, even realistick would fit. It really depends how you are going to use the critters! I would have to favor the realistic/artistic!

    Cointest!

I would also like to nominate fairyhoney. I just plane think she is a great and kind hearted person. She is always quick to make you smile. Being it is a random drawing for the winners and you can post as much as you like I will only be posting once and not 440 times. It has happened for a cointest. The only thing I can think of for a story is about a TB I had for a while. It was a fake piece of poop. I just loved that TB. I think it had to have been my favorite one to take pictures of. Potty cruiser was the name of it and I have to quote a e-mail that I recieved from the owner, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! If there was a prize for greatest fulfillment of a TB's mission, you would get one! I LOVE THE PICS!!!! Keep the poo as long as you like! Thanks for a great laugh!" I had this TB for about a month and took 20 some odd pictures of it. I guess it just struck me funny. I giggled ever time I took a picture of it. It made it to our cabin, to the shores of Lake Superior, and back to the front tire of my truck. Thanks to the owner I had one of the funnest times with a TB. And I am just waiting for the right one to come along again and take it to the next level of TB explotation. Thanks for the cointest and like I said earlier, this will be my only post for this cointest. For fairness purposes!!!! Dardevle
  8. I had a wonderful suprise today. The funny thing is I had forgot that I had posted my hearts desire, then in the mail today was a Blue Quadcacher coin and Geo nerd. Gardengorrila. Thank you soooooo much for the two coins Gardengorrila. They are both wonderful. That Quadcacher coin looks AWESOME. To be honest now I can NOT think of another coin the my hearts desire. There are alot of coins out there that I want but none that I truly desire. So......THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the coins. Dardevle
  9. I still have faith! Congratulations to all recient finders!
  10. Yes, it is a keeper - I can tell that a lot of thought went into these. I bet he had fun taking out his frustrations out when doing so. (frustrations for Dardevle = ice melting I am sooooo glad you like you like it. I just thought it would be fun to send out a few. I made 007 of them and they all went out. I'll give you one guess where my 007th one went! I hope everyone else gets theirs soon! HEY fairyhoney, I am finally back to work as of last thursday! 5 1/2 months off was enough for me. Now it is time to work until Ice is on the lakes again! To keep on topic, nothing in the mail today!!!
  11. I am sorry to hear that. Thanks for being so generous in the coins you did give out. There are so many great stories that made ready this topics post alot of fun. I am glad that I got to recieve one of your coins and I will always have this coin and remember that it was my first and only mystery coin(so far). Again, thanks for all the great things you have done for others!!!! And thanks for one of your coins.
  12. My favorite memory of my mom is that my sister and I used to try to make her upset so she would spank us. Then when we succeeded we would laugh which really made her even madder. Little did she know that we would stuff our pants with toilet paper before! And the burnt crook pot meat with potatoes and carrots. OK, fishing with her was fun too!
  13. I almost forgot. GrnXnham, I got your nickels this past week also. Thanks for the trade. I hope you get my package soon.
  14. Congratulations on your Daughters arrival. It is nice to hear everyone is doing good. Do we get to see pictures of little Jillian?
  15. Hey cainrcc, I got the wooden nickels you sent me today. They are really.....really nice. Did we trade before? I thought we did but I might be wrong. Either way I'll make a little something for you this weekend. Thanks again for the nice nickels.
  16. WOW......That is a nice coin! I am glad you like it. I got a few REALLY cool wooden nickels from cainrcc. Thank you!!!
  17. Both my daughter and I are very excited to get a couple. Glad to hear things are going along nicely. We (I), can not wait to see the pics. Thanks for the update!
  18. I like the idea. If anyone that I traded with wanted to "discover" their coin that would be fine with me. The coins I have traded for I write a little something in the "about this item" area about who I traded with. But a discovery would be nice I think!
  19. I am just kidding with you Flying Spaghetti Monster!! I think that it is a good idea. Wether you release it or fasten it to a cache, it could end up missing. It is a chance you take when releasing any trackable. I would also attach a laminated note that said only for discovery or something along those lines.
  20. Well, not really caching related but it does relate to the gas prices. Last year I got a credit card that I use "JUST" for gas , not even a pack of gum goes on it. That way I can tell how much I am spending on gas. Well, Last year I was using $350 a month in gas. And that was just driving 50 miles a day to work and nothing else. This spring I decided to get my Motorcycle permit and soon my endorsement. I bought a 2008 Honda Rebel and so far it gets 50-60 MPG. So to drive 150 miles I should be paying around $15 give or take a couple of dollars. So, I should only be spending around $75 a month for gas instead of $350. Which to me justifies buying a motorcycle, the license, and the insurance. After all is said and done it will cost around $150-$175 a month which is $125 or so less than last year. And once the bike is paid for, let the savings really begin. Anyway, that is my two cents!!
  21. Thanks kehunt64. It gives me something to do in the garage. And it is fun to do. And I get to have a few Bloody Marys. I use 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch punches. I wish I could take credit for the idea but I stole it from 007BigD. Hope you find the punches!!!!
  22. The D D is short for Dardevle. And the 3 is the mint number! Those are not holes, they are punch marks to hold the dime in place. There are a couple on the back also with another #003 stamped on the washer to match the # on the dime! I figured 007BigD used pennies so I'd try the dimes. I'll use just the dime for caches and save the "coins" for trades!!
  23. Got my punches in and decided to give them a try. I made seven "coins" last night. this is how they turned out. I also decided to use dimes. They fit really nice, then I peened the dime in so it is pretty secure. I am in the process of making a AEXOXOXO edition for you. Untill then, I'll get my first edition out to you monday morning. I should have some pics in the the package for you too. I have 3 spoken for and I'm not sure about the other 4. I'll figure something out. Anyway 007BigD , I thought I'd share with you.
  24. Hey there Geo.Error, that Coin and its holder sure look beautiful! I am so glad to see that you won it. You are so kind and friendly. You are also a very "GOOFY" person. In a good way that is! I hope to see one of those coins land in your hands!
  25. I did not get any Geocoins but I did get some wooden nickels in trade and I finally got my letter and numbers steel stamping set. Now I can start stamping like 007BigD. Maybe even start the design for my own "personal" coin. tsunrisebey, it is nice to hear you are done with classes! Almost there!!
