To I received a coin from the highland geofairy. What a very nice coin. It is one that I have never seen before. It is a "TAIRYOKU" geocoin. And a very meaningful "Scottish Tale" story. I think I will be putting this coin right in front of the keyboard for our computer as a reminder of what this coin means to me. This coin means more to get from you because of the meaning behind it than your "Fairy" coin. I am not saying that getting your coin would not have been nice but this one actually has some meaning between us. I can't thank you enough for your kindness so I'll end with, THANK YOU FROM THE HEART!!!!!!!

I got home a little late today but was very excited seeing 2 bubble mailers in the mailbox. The first was from highland geofairy. It contained a very nice Scottish Tale story. And a "TAIRYOKU" geocoin. THANK YOU TONS!!!! 2nd mailer was from ThirstyMick. This one had a really nice card, a suncacher chime that says"spread some sunshine, "A Little book for Dads", a cool Sig item, and a "Geocoin Forums, enter at your own risk" geocoin. What a nice package. Thank you both very much. It sure brought a ear to ear GRIN!!

After seeing the artwork, I am even more excited about this coin. My daughter will just love it. And I guess I'll need a couple.

I finally set up my 5 1/2 yr old with her own account. She goes by "LULU J ". I think she would just love to see her name on a coin. I should have started an account for her when I started because she has found at least 100 caches with me. At least from this point on she can log her own! Edit for spelling.

I'd be interested in 3-4. It would be nice to give both my daughters this coin. By the sounds of it, it would be a nice coin. Very anxious to see art work! Count me in!

Not if it's still available for sale. I don't have a problem with people listing every coin that has just come out as being their new heart's desire, and I have no problem with people gifting coins to these people who seem to miss out on every since coin sale. I just see that is as the role of the trading thread: Posting a seeking list and then trading to get the coins. If that is the case, would'nt every coin still be for sale. I see hundreds of different coins for sale on E-bay that are no longer for sale on any other site. Maybe what gardengorilla meant was they wanted a "members only" coin and they "cannot get one. Who knows. As for you I hope to that the postman brings you gifts of coins and no more bills! -Dardevle-

Uff dah, for a minute there I thought I was doing the wrong thing. If I come across a 2007 MnGCA coin for gardengorilla, it would be a gift, not a coin that I expect something in return for. That would be off topic and would mean I am in the wrong forum for giving a gift! Let me know if I need to post else where to "offer" a hearts desire "GIFT" to some one. I came to this forum and saw someone "desired" a coin that I have a good chance on getting another one. Why not help out? Besides, isnt' every coin a coin you "might" never get ahold of? Just asking. And if having to buy another coin myself and then gifting it does not some how "qualify" in this thread for you, I will gift my activated 2007 MnGCA coin to gardengorilla and then it can be adopted by them because that coin is, and I quote, "What there Geocoin heart desires." Seems fair enough!

No offense taken at all. I know the coin that I like "just" came out for sale. I am not a very big collector at all. I have a few, around 20-25 I'd guess give or take a couple. And all but two coins I have are activated. So when a nice coin comes out and I tend to really like it, is'nt that a hearts desire. All I am going to do is activate it anyway. Should I request a VHTF or a "very rare" coin that I do not like as much as a recent release? I would think so. As long as a cacher could read through the bottle. If there is any moisture in the bottle it could fog up from the inside and cause a person not to see the coords, depending on the weather. Worth a try though, sounds like something nobody would really be looking for. I'd try, if anything does happen to it then you'll notice it when you do cache maintenance on it. Or someone will let you know in the cache logs!
