  1. Well shoot! The first one I have seen released, I grab, place in a cache, and it gets muggled. I feel just horrible. What do you do I guess. I just wish it could have made it a little longer!!
  2. I do not think asking who to contact is a bad thing at all. Seems all right by me. As far as it being a "mystery" coin I think it is??? Although I am not 100% sure. Maybe just by posteing what you did you will be contacted. Who knows??? Congratulations to all who recieved it and good luck to all those who have not. -Dardevle-
  3. I am with Geo.Error, begging is kinda fun. I have to go fishing this afternoon and I think the devil is making me do it.(Ya right, I do that on my own) I WISH, I WISH, I WISH one of these coins would find its' way to meeeeeee.
  4. I am not big on caching a whole lot in the winter months. Especially if there is ALOT of snow. So....Anything from Santa that has to do with Ice Fishing would be great. Thanks in advance Santa.
  5. Name of Mystery Geocoin: GSA coin V.2 Method Obtained: Stop the voices!! Name of Mystery Geocoin: GSA coin (1st version) Method Obtained: In cache Name of Mystery Geocoin: Geocaching Bandit Method Obtained: Pony Express
  6. I would like to nominate "TheCollector". He always seems to have something going on to better geocaching and educating people on caching. He is very active in the MnGCA. I have been caching with him and he also seems to always make sure things are just the way we found them if not a little better. -Dardevle-
  7. CONGRATULATIONS to the winners! Thanks Naomi for the cointest. I now have Jib-Jabs' web site marked. I really hope things are getting better for you and the family. -Dardevle-
  8. I have had no problems with the accuracy of my Oregon 400t. It has been right on or "very" near the cache. I do however switch to the Geocaching profile sometimes. But for the most part I just use the Recreational profile. -Dardevle-
  9. I was also going to say that the Garmin site will not let me register my Oregon. No idea why. The Garmin rep did not know either. He said to call back a little later and they will put me through to their "Master Garmin computer I.T type person". Who knows??
  10. I talked to a guy at garmin and he said I could buy Garmin Mapsource Trip & Waypoint Manager and that would allow me to do what I was hoping to do. And it looks farely cheep. Not like those other mapsource programs at around $80. This looks to be around $20-30. Thanks for all the Help!!!! Time to shop around!!
  11. I'll look into map source. I think I am just going to contact Garmin and see what I can do about getting it. I was hoping to get this map blonw up and printed out to give to my dad for Christmas. We will see what happens! THANKS for the help. -Dardevle-
  12. Mine for some reason did not. Does that normally come with the Oregon? Is that something I can get from local Gander Mountain or outdoor store?
  13. I have all four corners marked as waypoints then I created a route from 1 all the way back to 1 to create the pink lines. I went to garmin.com and tried to download map source but it says I need some kind of software. What now???
  14. What is map source ? I do not see that when I plug my GPS into the computer. I just got this GPS 3-4 weeks ago and am not very computer literate. Maybe advice given to me could be like giving advice or teaching a average 10yr old. That should make it at my level.
  15. I have a Oregon 400t and My dad and I have all four points of 40acres mark. Then we walked our 4-wheeler trail to see where in relation it is to the boundries. Here is a pic. My Question is can I some how get this image onto our computer and make it say, the size of a sheet of paper so I can print it out? Any help would be great. If it works then we have some logging roads by the cabin we are going to map out also! -Dardevle-
  16. No problem at all. I hope it is an easy fix. I am happy that some one can use it and/or fix it And...Your Welcome!!! -Dardevle
  17. I have a guitar geocoin that I would gladly send you as a trade. I would even buy you an unactivated one of your choosing. Before I do , I will say that I had a similar problem with a Etrex Vista, and it was solved by turning off the WAAS. Let me know, eh? It is yours. Send me your address through my Profile and I'll get it ready to go out to you. You do NOT need to buy me a coin at all. I offered a $2 bill, a wooden nickel and a wheat penny older than the four of us here in the Geocoin Trading forum. Same is offered to you. I would love one guitar coin though
  18. HA-HA-HA GATOULIS, you make me laugh! GOOD one, I mean bad one!!!
  19. I have a used GARMIN 72 for trade. I have Quick start guide, Owners Manual,Cable to connect to computer and GPS unit. I bought a GARMIN Oregon 400t. The reason I am getting rid of it is because the screen goes out on it once in a while. Then I have to pull the batteries to reset it. I do not know how much it is to have work done so the screen does not zap out but I thought I was told around $100. I will pay for shipping if anyone can do something with GPS unit. I would even take any Geocoin in on trade. Maybe a Guitar geocoin???? If not a geocoin....It is free!! (I'll even throw in a $2 bill. Hows that? Pretty hard to pass up now.) ( OK, I'll throw in a.....wooden nickel and a wheat penny older than me, my wife and our daughters age combined) Thanks for looking. TRADED AWAY Thanks doingitoldschool !!! -Dardevle-

  21. Congrats on finding the coin! However the question arises did you find the deer? I have been out twice in Archery and missed but Gun season opens here in PA Next week. Good to see GSA is still alive and well and under cover! Did not see any deer. Seen lots of red squirrels though. I should have been hunting them. Good luck Hunting and be safe. I think I am going to go out for muzzle loader season this year. Open Nov 29 here in MN. Here are a couple of pictures of this other cachers coin they released.
  22. This is the first one that I have seen that someone released. I think it is ok to give out this reference #TB2FCMN . I took a couple of pic and will take a couple of more. I was able to find the cache and felt kinda lucky to have this coin still in the cache so I can help it on its way! Like I said in my log, it is too bad I am not going to florida until Febuary sometime I could have put a few extra miles on it! O-well, I am glad this person reeased there coin and I got to help it on its way. I thought you might enjoy watching one of your coins. I hope after I release it again, hopefully within a week or two at the most,it stays moving a safe for awhile. -Dardevle-
  23. These look way COOOL!!!!!!!!! I will definatly be ordering a couple!
  24. I am going north to Two Harbors today for the last weekend of deer hunting so I thought I would find a cache or two in that area. Oddly enough I was downloading caches and one of them has a V.2 GSA trackable coin in it so I hope that it will still be there for me to grab and move on. I will try to get a few pictures of it in the area and some of it with my GSA coins. Again, thanks for giving all the coins you have to people and making everyones day with them. You have done and are doing a great thing!!!! -Dardevle-
