  1. I checked the list today, and I have received all of my coins Thanks again!
  2. We'll be leaving for the airport in 12 hours Woohoo!
  3. Oooh, I'm first in line for gifts. . . No gifts for you
  4. I know of a few coins that I would like to get while I'm out there, but overall I don't expect to do a lot of trading. I'm more interested in seeing friends, and maybe giving out some gifts
  5. You'll know the coiners, they're the ones carrying around a big tub or album of coins Or like last year at GW5, there will be a table with coins spread out everywhere and people clamoring around it
  6. I don't remember ever seeing the thread, or have any idea of why it was closed/deleted... but normally when that happens, it's for a reason where the mods don't want another thread opened about it
  7. I just came across this today ...
  8. I found this: Elk Grove Treasure Hunters Bookmark List Hope that doesn't make you sad too
  9. We'll be flying in on Friday
  10. Whew, I'm in Glad to have that list all done now.
  11. This doesn't bother me, as long as the ebay customers are not receiving the coins before the 'store' customers (assuming I've already paid and am patiently awaiting shipment) Again, as long as I still have a reasonable chance of getting one, it doesn't really upset me. I'm just not going to be one of the people (idiots ) spending 10x the price of the coin just to get it in 3 days earlier. I'll never understand that, but maybe I will when I'm a millionaire Same answer as above I don't think it is unreasonable that those involved with designing/creating the coin get first crack at the inflated ebay prices. Again, as long as I still have opportunity to get the coin at a reasonable price. This I don't like. If a coin is being sold exculsively on Ebay, I'm out. It's one thing for a creator of a coin to sell some (how many?) on ebay, but when they're only on Ebay... then you're solely out for profit. No question for me. And not that profit is bad, I mean come on, everyone knows that coins don't cost $9 each to make, prices today in the stores still a make a reasonable profit.
  12. If you give someone a coin it's theirs to do as they wish. It's very poor form of you to interject your feelings in a simple coin sale thread, especially when it could have been done in private. I, for one, wish to see what he has for sale...WITHOUT the drama. I, for one, greatly appreciate that Steph posted this on here and let everyone know the dishonesty that is going on. It's information for people who are concerned with something like this happening to their own coins. It is also poor form to reiterate a statement that was already acknowledged and not needed to be repeated. If you truly were not interested in furthering the drama, then you would have not commented on her post and pretended it wasn't there.
  13. There's a thread for bragging about what coins you get in.. it's here. Quit posting in the trade thread if you're not interested in trading.
  14. I just got mine in today, and they look great! One thing I noticed though on the back... it looks like the die or the artwork was inverted somewhere in the process. The signs around the edge are all backwards Some of them are reversible and not noticeable, but others like capricorn, scorpio, virgo, leo, cancer are flipped
  15. Doh, I should have read the entire post first I hope you hear from the people logging them soon, and find out what's going on!
  16. I'm very exicted to get a set of these And looking forward to the government paying for them as well
  17. I shipped 5 coins out to you today, Steph
  18. Hey, at least your shirt matches your skirt Good thinkin'
  19. Shortly after Jim's "Scottish Experience", he rounded up the boys to prove that he wasn't any less of a man. They somehow convinced Hydee to take the pic, cuz I know they couldn't convince me Funny, D@nim@l doesn't look very interested ....
