I like this idea! Yes yes!

I don't really see it as competition, just more ways for obsession. I have always been an avid video gamer and I love the achievements. It gives you reasons to keep playing a game after the story has been beaten. I love completing all the achievements. I also was in boy scouts, back in the day, and I loved getting as many badges that I could get. It would be nice to have that experience here too. It could be an option just for premium members to choose from. Just added challenges for us completionist type. I see a lot of people using the third party sites to have these options. Would anyone else like to see these features added?

I see that you can go to different websites to add challenges and achievements to your profile page. It would be nice to see Groundspeak to add these features to the site without having to go through a 3rd party site, upload query, post code....etc. I am bit of a obsessive completionist, which is probably why I like this game. GS, add these features please, like badges, challenges, achievements etc.

I agree, $10 is way to much for this app. Charge $3 or make it free with premium membership.

Thanks, that's great info. I wish geocache would add a coordinate checker to make it easy for the hiders, and the reviewers too. Just a suggestion.

If you're scouting for a new hide, you can check your waypoints first, before placing anything. Of course, you could also find the local multis and puzzles first. Though there are certainly some puzzles that may be too darn puzzling ;-). And with bogus coords as much as 2 miles away, you might just not notice them.

I really wish there was a way to check coordinates to see whether or not cache or multi step were within .1 mile or not. Several times I have spent hours setting up a new cache only to be foiled when the reviewer says that a puzzle cache finale is too close. There is no way to see these types of caches on the map so what I wish this site would do is add a coordinate checker so that we hiders could have the ability to check a spot before going thru all the work of setting up a cache which never gets published. It's highly frustrating. If anyone has a work-around for this issue, please let me know.
