  1. Played. Failed on several locations but finally got ten completed - saw two codes - but no idea on how to get the souvenir based on the code. Tried both as possible trackables and both were rejected as invalid.
  2. Since Certitude is added to a cache's listing as a link - would there be any reason why it couldn't be used more than once? Thinking of a 3 or more step multi where there is a certitude link to verify the coordinates of the 2nd waypoint and separate certitude links to verify the coordinates of other waypoints up to and including the final waypoint. Of course they would have to be clearly labeled, etc.
  3. Not sure if this was reported. My son and I attended 2 events today (one being a CITO) - found and logged two mystery caches and one multi cache. But points are only showing for the two mystery caches and the one multi cache. I realize that, strictly speaking, an attended log isn't a "found" log. But shouldn't there be points anyway?
  4. Finally decided to check on this issue. Glad (?) to see I'm not the only one. For now - rather than using a cut-n-paste of the properly formatted coordinates I'm jus searching on my city (not all that big -- so a difference on the search center of about a mile). note: I tried slightly change my home coordinates to see if a new / updated set would not be corrupted - but nope - still happens. Home computer - lap top - Chrome / Edge doesn't matter.
  5. And another one - account.... tacbecarla1995 which I will report to HQ
  6. Yes. For about 2 or 3 days. Tried multiple search engines - Edge - Chrome - same thing. Checked and my son has the same issue. Have not yet tried to clear cookies - have not tried on my laptop - yet.
  7. And it seems to be correct now - i.e. asking to look at logs for 2 December shows (for me anyway) just December 2 - Going back to 6 November shows only 6 November.
  8. Now that's weird. Mine is working again - kind of. When I click on 9 November it shows me my logs for 10 November. If I go back to October and select 15 October it shows me my logs for 16 October. 19 August shows logs for 20 August. Etc. etc. etc. But - to answer Viajero Perdido's question - yes. Earlier this morning if I clicked on 9 November - the response was Error 500.
  9. Same for me. I've tried.... IE and Chrome on both my home computer and my laptop. I've also signed off and back on. And I've deleted cookies (so a second time logging back on). Nada. Still getting error 500.
  10. Nope - it was GSAK - or more correctly the version of GSAK I was running. I just updated to the latest version (9.0 something) and now the elevation updates.
  11. Old thread but I'll ask here (vs. starting a new thread). I've updated my file on GSAK - I've done the update elevation - I've done the force elevation update, etc. But I still have a few dozen geocaches that display a 0 ft. elevation - In cases where I know with 100% certainty the cache isn't at 0 ft. Just an example - GC7HDV0. In an area with no sharp drop-offs, etc. Google Earth Pro shows an elevation of 3947 feet (so that should be within 5 to 10 feet of the elevation). GSAK - no matter what - continues to show 0 feet. Is it possible that the elevation simply hasn't been included in the cache info?
  12. This isn't an issue with updating coordinates - but rater - it seems that the edit feature is disabled on the logs. So if you still want to update coordinates but for some reason want to change the associated comment (i.e. the reason for the update) is there a way to edit that part of the log?
  13. Deleting and reposting my attend log worked for me. Souvenir immediately popped up.
  14. I'll make a fourth. I do know my CITO count went up by one for today's event. But no souvenir. I don't remember if past CITO souvenirs always showed up the same day. Time to keep better track.
  15. I'm trying to setup a new cache - mystery / unknown. I have GPS services started for my smart phone camera - i.e. when I upload the image to my desktop - right click - select properties - and look at the details - I see a GPS section with coordinate information. However when I upload that image to the cache - to be used as a reference image (to solve the puzzle) - it drops the GPS / coordinate information. I know having the GPS info can be done - because I've gone after other caches that use images with imbedded GPS info. But how do I get it upload the image with the GPS info intact?
  16. Working again this morning - thanks.

    Error 500

Trying to update some trackable logs (i.e. visit logs on caches). Getting Error 500 message. Done (I think) all the standard items from my end - i.e. signed off - signed back on - cleared temp. internet files, etc. Anyone else?
  18. Took awhile but apparently the software engineers did find something - so my specific issues seems to be fixed. Strangely enough the first I was aware of it was when I decided to attempt another My Finds PQ - about 10 this morning - but put it off - only to find one (from July 30th) - waiting to be downloaded when I went back in around 11:30 this morning (of course I still tried the new one - which worked OK).
  19. Actually page / grid #54 is exempt because It is Death Valley National Park. China Lake is exempt - being a Naval Weapons Center - but there are areas within the same map page / grid (#52) that are outside of the Weapons Center - so that grid itself isn't exempt. But #120 is also exempt (being Channel Islands Nat'l Park). Not sure the macro could do much about the split pages (#30 - 31 - 43 - 44, etc.) but it should, presumably, be able to do something about the exempt pages - so I'll send the owner / developer a message.
  20. If nothing better comes along (before the problem I'm having with My Pocket PQ is resolved) I can with GSAK (which I should have mentioned). Problem with GSAK is it somewhat multi staged - in that you need to first update your finds and then run the DeLorme micro. For what I'm tracking - however the GSAK macro has a few faults (it shows map/grid 54 -- Central / Southern CA Challenge) as - open - i.e. no found caches. Which is true - I've not found any caches in that page. But that's because that page is exempt - being the Naval Weapons training area at China Lake. Also there are multiple grids / map pages that are split - but still with the same number. Again dealing with the Central / Southern CA challenge - there are (among others) two map page #73. One is on the coast NW of the Santa Barbara area - the other is just a very small sliver up against the border with Nevada (go figure). The challenge doesn't make it necessary to find caches in both page 73s - just one. GSAK shows, again, a gap - i.e. that I've found a cache in page / grid #73 along the coast - but not the page #73 along the border with Nevada. But the challenge gives me credit for the sliver of page #73 next to Nevada - because of finds in page #73 along the coast. GSAK doesn't reflect that.
  21. Other than My Geocaching Profile and Project Geocaching -- are there other software packages that generate geocaching stats? I'm looking specifically for one that tracks DeLorme map pages / grids. I know that My Geocaching Profile will show DeLorme Map pages -- but at this time I'm not able to get My Finds PQ to run (the problem has been reported in another thread). So - no output files from My Finds PQ equals no files to update My Geocaching Profile.
  22. Good idea (moving to the Bug Reports). Hopefully not because of the 11K plus finds. 11K finds is a fair amount - but by no means unique. Using one of the "rankings" sites it shows over 200 cachers - just in California - with more finds than mine - and over 1,300 in the US. I use My Finds PQ at least once every 6 - 8 weeks - more frequently if I'm using it to track progress on a specific challenge cache.
  23. If you're talking about the "View Results" link in the email I usually don't bother - go straight to "Download now". But since you asked - I went back & looked at the last My Finds PQ email - and the view results looks correct - 11,076 finds (my page shows 11,090 - but then I have 14 lab caches - so 11,076 + 14 = 11,090). If you're talking about a regular PQ - the last one I ran (two days ago) looked OK.
  24. sorry for the slow response - using the link - going to the web page - no difference. Nothing - no file - the tab shows Pocket Queries Ready for Download (0). There is no error - there simply is no file. And that has now been the case several attempts to run the My Finds Pocket Query -- at least 4 times now (the 11th - 14th - 18th and 21st of July) . Different computers (tower - laptop - my son's laptop, etc.). Multiple times signing off and on - multiple times clearing internet temp files, etc. Regular PQ work fine (I've setup and run 2). But no luck with the My Finds Pocket Query. And I have sent several emails to HQ about the issue (include some info I found on previous issue with the My Finds PQ).
