Hi everybody, First of all We just wanted to say we are brand new to geocaching and hope for our 1st find this weekend. We just got our etrex this morning and have a quick question. We noticed you can only make a waypoint of your current position. I know you can download waypoints but we don't have a pc cable yet. What I need to know is how do u input the position of a cache so that u can find it? I'm guessing we just have to create a waypoint then go to the wapoints screen and edit the coordinates. Is this correct? Also, is there a way to then get the correct elevation? Is there an easier way? Thanks for any help you can give. Hi everybody. I just have a quick question. I just ordered a GPS unit and I was wondering if anybody has been having problems with satellites being unavailable because of Sept 11 or are things working fine as always. Basically, I was wondering what kind of accuracy to expect. Was told by someone to only expect being correct within 300 meters.
