I'm pretty new with this & I think about it everyday, several times a day. I had a caching dream last night LOL It's kind of funny, I was on a mad search for an altoid tin the other day & could not find it. However, in my dream, I found it right away! LOL

I read this thread a while back & have been thinking of it. With a couple of my caches that I have hidden, you could get a wheelchair or motorized scooter there, but the person probably would have to have help with the grab. For example, one of mine is in a park where the earth is packed probably would be easy for a motorized scooter, but the actual cache is in the bushes. Anyone in the scooter could enjoy visiting the park, but probably couldn't get in the bushes to get the cache. Just a thought...maybe there could be an icon for that too.

Too funny! That is one of my pet peeves too.

My 4 year old daughter is the one who goes with me the most. We usually make an afternoon of it. I always try to pick caches that she would enjoy seeing too - parks & playgrounds are a big hit with her. She likes to find the "treasures" especially if she can make a trade Sometimes I have to remind myself that the journey is just as important (if not more important) as finding the cache. Have fun!

I take my 4 yr old dd with me most of the time. My fav caches so far are ones at parks or where the walk isn't too far. She likes to walk in the woods, but not for miles Definitely check out the log & see what people say. We call it "treasure hunting".

I just got one today from Walmart for about $3. Glad to hear it's a good container for hiding caches

Thanks for this post. I had my first DNF yesterday. I have to admit that I was a bit embarassed that I didn't find any caches. I was O for 2. I logged them both, just in case...even though I think it was just a problem with the cacher & not the cache LOL

I am new to this too. I went with the Explorist 210 & am very happy with it.
