  1. If you would like a matching GeoPin with a coin add $1.25 to your paypal order or email me through Geocaching.
  2. Here ya go nutlady and all.....the nutlady Geocoin!!!
  3. They finally made it. These are available at Coin Tracking Trackable at Geocaching.com with a Unique Icon $8.50 each with $1.50 Shipping for the first coin and only $0.50 for each additional coin. Orders from outside the USA, please contact me for shipping costs. I'm not 100% sure but I believe this is the first STAR shaped Geocoin. Grab 'em while they last. There will be a set of 2 available shortly in Silver and Gold editions with a matching Geopin. Keep watching. And thanks, Castle Man
  4. I think this one might look great in 3D without color.
  5. We have had three coins minted within our group and the prices ranged for trackable coins from $3.92 - $5.27 each.
  6. I use a 14.4V Ryobi shop light. Lights up the world........then for longer walks the 1 watt LED is great.
  7. Any more traders out there? Let's get some deal set up if you have personal pins.
  8. In our area there are three 5 gallon buckets burried with about 6 inches left showing. Even seen this on the way to Las Vegas at a travel bug motel. Each one of these hides ans a clever camouflage covering the lids, however the cache is technically exposed.
  9. You can try trading here in the forums or check Coin Tracking and look at cachers trading lists.
  10. Cachers wont dig up the lawn if you place the container as I have.....in the planter in plain sight. Looks like something that should be there in the first place and the hints make it tooooooo easy. So far cachers have really enjoyed it.
  11. No I don't, and would love to trade one. Please PM me...thanks.
  12. Well, the good thing is that Geo-Pins are almost always under $2 each and often as cheap as $1. So there is little expense and yet a bunch of fun. They are all unique, make great conversation items at events, and are just plain fun. That vest breaks the ice alot of times at events. Someone asks to take a picture or "lemme look" and the party begins. Well, since I didn't find any thread on Geo-Pin trading why not try and start one here. My new personal pin is going to be here by Friday...it is a silver star with red inlays done in clear red enamel. It is one side of the new geocoin I just had done. There are 200 available. Wanna trade?
  13. Is there any forum or place that refers to the up and coming popular GeoPin? I personally collect these and I have set up a vest with all of them that i wear at events. If there's not how about we get one here and start some swapping, trading and selling our pins? Eh?
  14. Did you see the way they spelled BLACK? I don't believe english is their forte.
  15. Actually this is my second coin. My first was a group coin "Sequoia National Monument" done by my small group of central valley cachers "The Blue Ridge Boys". This one is just for fun and since I do not recall a star shaped coin I took a shot. Some may not like it, but the bottom line is, I do. I've watched a number of threads about other cachers designs and I see alot of raking on them.....not cool. The coins that people come up with are meant to be fun, not a venue for others to take out their frustrations on. If people don't like this coin I suggest they not purchase or trade for one. If they do like the unique design, then they will be ready to go by the end of next weekend and I'll welcome all interested parties. I'll have a thread for purchase here and cointracking.com. The sample pictures are far too bright to bring out the textured cut outs filled in by clear red enamel so I will not post them until I can personally take a new photo with the proper lighting. Let the fun begin.
  16. OK, this one will be here on Friday and available for purchase. Yep, I know it's my own personal coin, but I LIKE IT!!!

  22. Hmmm, more typical nagging by the usual suspects. I'll BUY 5 from you when they are ready.......no complaints or issues......By the way, I am an American married to a Canadian so this appears to be a special coin to me at least, thanks for designing it.
  23. Hmm, this is at night at 60 degrees. Something is fishy about this machine says I.
  24. I just got a new Garmin GPSMAP 60CS in the mail and everything works great except while stopped for an extended stop light (approximately 2 minutes or so) the machine turns off on it's own. I checked the settings and set it for NORMAL...not battery saver and yet this is continuing to happen. No problem when we are in route (moving). Is this something I am going to have happen all of the time? If so, bye-bye 60CS.
