  1. Just started a new Facebook page for Geocachers in Far North Queensland.... https://www.facebook.com/fnqgeocaching
  2. The thing that surprised me I suppose was that the owner also included their full home address in that first email, so it was as if it was expected that the GC would be posted without any discussion! I will email him back with a positive reply and see how I go from there Cheers! Ashandy
  3. Thank you all for your considered replies, I will contact the owner with the cost of shipping and see what we can work out, just seemed a strange request but I suppose it is a long way from home and has been travelling for the last 6 years!! IOf the postage is less than 10 dollars I would probably just pay it anyway, I was more worried that the coin may get lost in transit and it may cost a lot more to send it registered post'. Regards Ashandy
  4. Hi fellow Geopersons I retrieved a GC from a local cache today and have just found an email in my inbox from the owner of the GC asking me if I could post it back to him in Denmark (I am in Australia!). Is this a pretty usual request? The goal of the GC is to visit the "four winds regions". The GC is of course quite heavy, am I expected to foot the cost to ship the GC back to the owner or are they expected to meet the reasonable cost of returning it? I have only been Geocaching a few months and not really too sure (or aware) of all protocols within this great hobby which myself and my two young sons are enjoying immensely Thanks for any assistance/views on this subject. Regards Ashandy Cairns, Australia
