Thanks for the feedback. It looks like we have to accept this "new & improved" change!

It just started with the upgrade to Windows 11. Every time I click on Certitude or Geocheck on a puzzle page, the site pops up a message: Hey wait. You're about to leave Geocaching.com. You then must select OK to get to the other site. Seems like a new extra step. Already tried all the suggestions on the web to block this in Chrome, but nothing works. Anyone have any other suggestions?

The new profile page does NOT seem to have a link to send an email or a message to the user.

As far as eliminating the old cache input form, I agree with most all of the comments. The new form takes longer to work through, is really designed for new cachers, and makes it more difficult for experienced cachers. Can't we at least have an OPTION to use the old form?

Like many Montana owners, I'be been searching for a good carrying case. I've found a nice once to attach to my pack shoulder strap, item #0102 from Maxpedition. At $30 it's not cheap, but it works well and is well constructed.

I'm using a Lowepro Tahoe 30 case and wearing it on my belt. It's a little tight, but fits and protects the GPS if you happen to drop it. $11 at BestBuy:
Thanks for the tip on the Lowepro Tahoe 30 case. It is inexpensive & the fit & protection are very good.

I think the real question here is why doesn't anyone from Geocaching.com seem to be involved in this discussion. Could it be that a decision has been made and no matter how bad it was we will just have endure it? The originator of this thread said it all in his title. When will admin figure it out?
Just to weigh in on this controversy, I for one love the new maps in order to quickly show me where the caches are in a new area. I also understand that some people just don't like them. Having the option on our profile page is a great idea that should be a win-win solution.
Missing logs, other elements from cache pages

I am using Chrome & have had both the "no logs" issue and the Personal Cache Note issue. The "no logs" can be corrected each time by refreshing the page. The Personal Cache Note issue while not resolved, will work if I enter a note BEFORE updating the note from Certitude (on puzzles).
