  3. We are new at this and retrieved our first T.B. We posted a log to the cache before the T.B. was posted, we found it the same day it was dropped off so we beat the other cacher by accident. I then went and logged the T.B. find, but then deleted it because we wanted the other cacher to log the bug drop off. Well now Geocaching.com thinks the cache site still has the bug, yet under the T.B. site it says it was "last seen in the hands of Tree Frogs" and If I go to the the cache page, we now have an option to drop the T.B. My question is how do I get the T.B. off the Cache page? The Tree Frogs
  4. We are also brand new to GeoCaching. We decided to wait for ten finds before hiding our first. The caches we have found has given us a few ideas about placement and we definately have a good feel for our GPSr now. We hit nine finds yesterday out of eleven tries so we're going to place our cache this weekend . We are very excited! The Tree Frogs

  6. Thank you for your check list, it puts into words what I have been teaching my childeren. I am brand new to GeoCaching and certainly don't want to speak for anyone else, but we were love the outdoors and the opportunities geocaching provides us to find new areas to explore. If you spend a little time on the discussion board you may observe that many of the posts concern the protection of the environment as well as discussions regarding the Cache in Trash out initiative. Thanks again The Tree Frogs

  8. We travel together as a "family unit" (12 legs!), so I carry a day pack with water (lots of water), snacks, small first aid kit, some para cord and a Gerber on pretty much any cahche that will take over an hour. I add contents based on time of day and weather. Yesterday we went to a cache in the early evening, we had enough daylight to complete the cache but I brought along a three D cell flashlight just in case. The Tree Frogs
