I'm looking for someone to perform a cache retreival. I was out in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness last weekend and left a cache at Island Lake. When I published the cache it was disabled until I could get the name of a ranger who would approve the cache. After speaking to Bill at the North Bend Ranger Station I was informed that no caches are approved in the Wilderness area, and that it is illegal to place one there. Long of the short of it is I placed a cache without permission and I am looking for someone interested in making the 11 to 12 mile hike to retreive the cache. If you are game I can give you the coords and tell you a couple of routes to make it easier. I live in North Seattle and would be willing to buy a beer or two for any takers.

I am collecting items for my first cache release. So far I have drink tokens, patches, decals, and buttons from local watering holes. I am also including other bar related swag like dart flights. I plan to release it on one of our future Barstool Hiking Club outings.

I like the Ogio Flight Vest on longer hikes. Lots of pockets and hooks, and a large hydration pack in the back.
