Isn't the xxxxx-wpts.GPX usually a collection of parking places or other features mentioned by coordinates in the description? I haven't used it much, so I'm making sure I understand.

Okay, what have I done wrong in my settings? I am getting an email every time somebody comments on the International Space Station travel bug. I'm getting an email every time my PQs auto-generate. I'm getting an email for every comment in the forums. How do I make it all stop, or at least slow down to a manageable flow? Anything important has been lost in the information overload. Thanks! J

I'm with Neversummer and mdplayers: A simple intro screen that encourages newbies to learn a little would be a great addition. (And not too expensive to develop.) I would also suggest something social in the intro app, to encourage new cachers to connect with the experienced community. The social aspect of signing in and understanding each others' puzzles is part of the nature of geocaching. I would suggest that the social nature of meeting and working with other cachers enhances the game and would really help newbies as well as preventing many of the "seagulls." Send 'em my way - I'd love to meet some new folks and learn together.

My "Needs Maintenance" logs are not logging as a "Found It" log. I just went back through my old logs and added a duplicate log to get "Found It" credit for a bunch of logs I had submitted as maintenance. Is there some way to avoid duplicate entries like that? Should I make two separate field notes in my GPS, or is there some way to make a maintenance log count as a found log? Thanks! Montane77 (was Jim277) Thanks for all the help, everybody!
