Garmin Legend C for me. I have found that Garmin has great customer service.

It belonged to the zoo and had aparently attacked at least 2 other people in the last week. They put it down today. They had built a new cage for it but it did not hold it.

Today, while I was scouting out a new place for a cache, at the city park, I was attacked by a Hawk. He swooped down, talons in my neck, pecked my head and flew away. As I was trying to make my way back to the car he cirlcled and attempted to attack again. I swang my clipboard, while running away but he/she was faster than I am. He /she didn't get another shot at me. Scarry!!!!

Sorry I messed this up. Sont do it much. Anyway we have on that is 10 miles or so between parts of a multicache. I did it and it was worth it!!! I do wish the person who lplaced it would have let us know that it was that far apart. The last place was really nice.

I just recently had to have my Garmin worked on and the customer service was really GREAT!!

While looking for a place to hide a cache I came across a very small light blue bridge with plastic flowers on the other side leading up and around a small bend. As I approached I could see a black board kind of thing, but the kind that you use eraseble markers on. Going on up you reached a clearing that had birthday balloons, christmas orniments ect. and was surrounded by more plastic flowers. When I looked at the board from the other side it said Michella We Love You. I suddenly remembered that the police had found a young girls body somewhere out in a wooded area. Said a prayer to the girl and her family as well as my own and left but I don't know if I will ever forget this one.

I was wondering how you can tell if you need to take someone with you caching? I did a 3.5 the other day and really wished I had someone with me. Other times a 3.5 doesn't seem to be a problem. Any suggestions?
