  1. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Guess I've got some work to do for the puzzles already solved.
  2. One the cache page (www.geocaching.com) we have the ability to edit the listed coords. I use this feature when I solve a puzzle. My question is how do I determine which puzzles I've solve and corrected the coords? FI, I use GSAK to load my Garmin 62s.
  3. I just bought the Asus (Google) Nexus 7 tablet and was somewhat disappointed that the Groundspeak app is not compatible and could not be installed via the store. When is support expected? People have been requesting this update since at least May and it's still not done? What gives?
  4. Already did that ... nothing (from GC.com) there. The mystery continues ....
  5. Yes, I'm receiving email that people through GC.com just not the log notification and come to think of it, I no longer receive new cache notifications.. I'll try changing my email address to my gmail account and see what happens. Thanks ... Ken
  6. I'm not receiving notifications when someone logs one of my caches. I thought maybe something had changed to the site so I tried to add my caches to the watchlist but it indicated I was already watching them. Any ideas? Ken
  7. I recently had to replace my home computer with a monster laptop. The problem is that the laptop didn't come with a serial port (RS232). My eTrex Legend cable is for a serial port. Anyone ever use a serial-to-usb converter cable and make it work? Any other possible work arounds? Thanks ... Ken
  8. Background - Newbie w/ a eTrex lengend using EasyGPS and CacheMate (for my Palm). When I look at coordinates on www.geocaching.com, the units are in the form N 37° 06.964 W 113° 36.168. I think this is referred to as MinuteDecimal (MinDec). When I look at the coordinates in the CacheMate file converter, they are in the form of N 37.11665 W 113.59998. Is this referred to as DegDec (Degree Decimal)? On the GPS itself, they are in MinDec. Is there a simple algorithm to go between the two units. Thanks.
