GPS, or Global Positioning System, is the original system engineered and launched by the US. Of course you want to use these. WAAS is Wide Area Augmentation System. It was implemented by the FAA (Federal Aviation Agency) to impromve the basic GPS accuracy for aircraft. It consists of ground stations that measure the slight variations in the GPS signals and send correction information to geosynchronous satellites covering North America. If your within the receiving area for these satellites, leave it on. It can only help. Glonass is engineered and launched by Russia. It is another satellite constellation and having a second constellation will only improve your fixes. I would enable all three and go have fun and not worry about it.
Thanks, that's what I needed to know. I have them all turned on, but just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. Much to learn!
