  1. I recently decided to use black steel fishing leaders to do the trick. They are nice and strong!
  2. Thank you, that was what I was looking for.
  3. I'm moving to San Antonio in a couple of weeks and am looking for some good folks in the area to meet/greet and cache with. Are there any local groups on FB, etc?
  4. I did try that method, and it looks like the query saved, but it didn't run or generate a GPX. On a second look, now I see that I had to add it to a queue for it to generate. Thanks for sending me for a second look =)
  5. Good morning, all. I'm a premium member with an eTrex 10 GPSr. From the geocaching map I can send GPX files direct to my GPSr, but they must all be done one at a time. Is there a way to send all the interesting caches to my bookmark list (that part's done) and then send them in bulk as .GPX to my GPSr? From the bookmark list page, it only gives me the option of the .loc file. Thank you.
  6. Hey all. For those of you living in the panhandle of Florida, and have trackables that need to move to Texas (or beyond), I've got great news for you. I will be moving to Texas in December and can relocate your trackables for you! Just let me know if my services are needed =)
  7. when logging a trackable, I enter the TB code and click to view it. The page shows another code, however. So when I get to the "Post a New Log" screen for it, there is an entry for Trackable Code. How does this differ from the one I entered to pull the TB page up? What is the purpose of the other code that was on the TB page? Thanks in advance =)
  8. I just got a Garmin Forerunner 405, which is a running watch/gps, and I plan to see how well it works with GC =)
  9. Nice timing on the post -- I was just ahead of you with the hangar =P
  10. Yea, that's the ones. I bought a couple. My concern of putting it on the base is it falling off. Thanks for the reply, I'll look into it some.
  11. Can someone link me to a picture and explain how to properly hang a matchbox container? I'm wanting to make sure it stays waterproof...
