I will try that, but the Magellan site must have a problem when I click on the "Click here to download version 2.10" link it takes me to the site map. I will email them and give it a try tomorrow.

I had the NAND issue come up on my unit. I have used it for over a year with out a problem. Called Magellan, no help, they told me to send it in. So I did a search here and tried the code 95, figured whats to lose if they want me to send it in anyway. It got the unit up and running without the basemap. I tried the links to download the basemap without success. Does anyone have an up to date site I can download the XL basemap and decompress software?

I didn't know those existed, sounds cheaper, and less cable is good. Cool thanks.

I use my XL alot in my car, Megellan does not list a cigarette adaptor for under accesories, does the same one for the 600,500,400 work? Or even better can I get a generic one form Best Buy or someplace, and If so does it use the same volt output as the batts give, 1.5X4 or 6volts.
