I am going to be attending the Sioux Falls Gun show Feb 13 and 14 and I am wondering if there are any caches that are available in the winter that I should do while I am in town Tungseth

I think there is more to this story but the cachers I have contacted in SF seemed to be friendly and helpful when I had questions for them

That is how you will do it but you will need internet access to see the cache info you will just know one has been published

what you want to do is possible the hardest part may be finding the route you are looking for I have had problems with that. You can create your own routes with Google earth. After you have found the route you want all you do is select the distance off the route you are willing to travel to find a cache and go from there it is pretty easy hope that helps

I would agree, I spend a week in the Black Hills every year caching and it is my favorite place to cache and Geocaching has taken me places in the hills I never would have been. It was nice of the park rangers to let Bear run with the buffaloes and they tell everyone else to stay away from them

i don't know why I haven't looked at this sooner but I would like to say thank you for the work you have done on this. This program is awesome and I look forward to playing with it more

I am looking for a new GPS unit and am wanting one that has the capability of turn by turn and also lets you input coordinates to allow me to geocache any advice on new units would be appreciated

a cache i hunted for a few weeks ago was called woodticks 2 hidden on private property very near some large no trespassing signs my accuracty was fairly pour so i decrypted the hint and it said "check for ticks when you leave" I couldn't believe i wasted my time on this to log a DNF after i logged the DNF it the cache page was changed to say permission was granted for geocaching but i am not driving 60 miles again for that.
