I'd wondered what happened to these...thanks for offering up your AE before the RE go on sale.
I don't have them yet, it's just a reserve list that's why I'm not taking any payments yet! The regular editions IMO, especially the Japanese Fan in BN and the Chinese in AS are SOOOOOOO amazing. Course I'm a silver person so maybe I am biased.

What will the regular edition be?
I'm fairly certain that the pictures I posted above are the regular editions. I know for sure they (Oakcoins/Geoswag) are doing the Black Nickel for the Japanese one and the Antique silver for the Chinese and rightly so, they are beautiful, I probably shouldn't say that, lol.
For the Pinwheels (Oakcoins/Geoswag) I think what is pictured is what they are doing.
For the Roses they (Coins and Pins) are doing a Peachy/Orange (it was supposed to be pink, lol) and a Yellow Rose. Mine will be Red and Glow in the Dark White.
The Lizards (Hogwild Stuff) will be the ones pictured on my site on Black Nickel, mine will also be on Black Nickel but will be 3 different colors.

I probably should have mentioned that only 28 of each are being made. There will also be 2 very special ones with different colors, babyish colors, to be auctioned for the March of Dimes.

I have a couple designs that will be coming out in May/June. Of these I will have a limited amount of Artist Editions available. All of these coins are trackable. If you are interested in reserving one please send me an email to UOTrackers@yahoo.com. I will not be taking any payments until the coins are ready to ship to you. In your email please tell me which coin(s) you'd like, if you'd like them all shipped together or as they arrive, and your paypal address. PLEASE no more than 2 of any one version. Each coin will be $15.00 plus S&H (US - $3.50 for the 1st + .50 for each additional Outside the US include your country and I will find out the cost)
AE China Fan will be Antique Copper 22 are currently available for reserve.(28 were made)
AE Japan Fan will be Shiny Copper 22 are currently available for reserve.(28 were made)
The Pinwheels are going through a small redesign so that they spin properly.

I will also accept emails of interest for my Roses coins. These will up for pre-sale at Coins and Pins on May 10th. I do not know how many I will have available at this point. Also the Lizard coin sets, I'm not sure when I will have them but you can let me know you're interested and I'll add you to my list. There are 3 coins in the Lizard set ( so $45.00 per set + S&H)

Over the years I have toyed with making one for my fundraising efforts, but I've always chosen not to. The market for geocoins is very tricky. Instead I have sold some that have been donated to me. I've also just begun having a couple of my own designs produced in "March of Dimes/babyish" colors just for this purpose. So far the best thing I have been able to do has been pathtags. I'm having some made just for my own fundraising efforts. The cost to make them is low and the donation price is low so they are doing very well. what ever your cause is, I wish you luck with it!

Well, I've for the most part stopped buying coins, so not sure if this counts. In the beginning I would buy I'd say about 10 or so a month, so that was about $100 a month. (We were both working then). Now I only buy them if they appeal to me for Bella's collection. So that said, all the extra money I would have spent goes into a bank for Bella. It's kinda a special bank, it's a cute little bunny that I got when I was 13 years old. My grandmother brought it back from Maine. Amazingly it has never fallen or broken. Now each month I add coins and bills to it for her, usually I give her the money to put in herself, she loves to! At the end of the month we open it up and empty it into a larger jar, and when that is full we go to the bank and use the coin machine. She loves to do this! We emptied her bunny today in fact, about 10 minutes ago!!!

I thought Artist Edition had been defined pretty well in one of those threads, but I think what your looking for is clarification on if you have the "idea" are the coins you are "rewarded" considered AE's? Is that it? I think it's up to you. I know you are an Artist as well, so creatively it was your design, just not your time to put it into design, which the artist who puts it into design gets paid by the mint anyway. So, yeah, I say it's up to you.

Naomi, your daughter Bella is so darn cute and has a nice smile that is so adorable. Congrads on the receiving the Highland Geofairy Coin Bella. Hope you grow up just as nice as your mama really is. By the way we love that name Bella, we named our parrot that name when we got her, we always say if we ever had a chance to have a girl, that would be her name.

) Bella was very excited to get a new coin, and I was too, I really had no idea it was coming! When I found out I was having another girl I originally had picked out the name Elyssia Trinity, but I found some random website that told you all about the person you are by your name, and I know I shouldn't believe those things but it didn't paint the picture I wanted my daughter to be. So next came Natalia, but hubby said no. I wanted an Italian name because her dad and I are both Italian and it's important to me, so Isabella it was! Her middle name is a whole nother story...Andromeda, it's growing on me though! -

A package for Bella isn't all that surprising given that Easter is this weekend, I had figured on little gifts from grandparents, but none of them live over the pond, so I was really surprised. I brought the envelope in the house and her eyes lit right up, she said "a package for mama!", (she's used to me getting pathtags) I said, "no a package for Bella" she said, "me Bella?" I said, "yep". She jumped up and down, she's into jumping these days, and this little dance thing I like to call a jig, fittingly. I had no idea what was inside, I wasn't expecting anything and well I was darned curious too! The envelope said "1 game token boxed." and though I recognized the name on the back, I can never be too sure because I just have seen so many names. *For those wanting to know when and where these will be available, I created them for OakCoins. The Fans are schedules to hit presale in approx 4 weeks. The Pinwheels are a summer design and I have no date on them yet. I will of course have my AE's, I just don't know what they will be yet.

I can only speak for myself, when I announce coins that I have designed for another site, it's strictly because I'm so darned excited to see them finished. Especially since some of them have been done art work wise for close to a year! I usually wait for the store to give me an ok that they are about to pre-sell them before announcing them though.
As a consumer, I like seeing them 4 weeks in advance only so that I can prioritize my spending allowance, if I even have any. It allows me to pick and choose and not kick myself later.

As a mission host (Mission Mayhem 07) I can say that I tried very hard to get in contact with senders as to whether or not their packages were sent. There was one person who apparently did not send any of theirs and I was very surprised at who it was, but, I can't judge anyone as to why it did or did not happen, and I wouldn't feel right adding names to lists because you just never know. Now, that particular mission definitely lived up to it's name!

Just found out about path tags the other day. Would like to know if there are many geocachers out there with path tags for trade?
There's a great set of forums on the pathtags site with lots of traders! There are now over 1000 tags, so I"m sure you'll find some to trade for! Good Luck!

How many different birds were made?
It's an ongoing project, anyone can order at anytime, so unfortunately, I have no idea how many there are now. I originally made up 20 "pre-made" color selections, and have since done at least 5 others. With the Parrot being the Mascot for the next Midwest Geobash I wouldn't be surprise if the "flock" gets even bigger!!! I bet Sharon or Steve would know how many there are though.

As far as group coins go there are also the Birds of a Feather coins through Hogwild stuff. Especially nice if your going to MWGB as their Mascot this year is a Parrot!
