  1. Love it! Hoping to do a trade someday. I noticed the signature right away, there are actually quite a few cpins with artists' signatures on them, they are just sorta hidden in the art!
  2. Well we're on our way out for a 2 day caching trip, so this will probably be my one and only entry! Sure would love to win one of these neat sig items, probably the closest i'll ever come to being able to meet you. Bella has mostly coins, I have mostly sig items! Hope everyone else has a great rest of the weekend...caches! Here we come!
  3. I've got a "What's in your mailbox" V2 sample I could trade?
  4. The crayons were sort of me. I volunteered to co-lead the group with Jolene, and I did the art, but I've since passed the project onto Jolene. It had been planned as a later summer project.
  5. This would be great for our CITO do Mayo on Saturday.
  6. I know what it is but I'm not giving the answer away I already gave it all away, actually it was guessed, I just confirmed it with a larger picture, look up above! http://www.mcescher.nl/Shopmain/ShopRoW/indexshoprow.htm http://www.mcescher.nl/indexuk.htm Did you pay or get permission for the copyright of these? If not I highly suggest you read this http://www.artquest.org.uk/artlaw/copyright/28920.htm. Gotta be proud when you create an idea that is so good that someone has to set up a sock puppet just so they can THROW COLD WATER ON IT. I know both UOTrackers and Hogwild Stuff appreciate open dialog, but it is always kind of frustrating when what is effectively another negative potshot comes from someone who is not willing to say who they are. I mean particularly something like this. But then again, if it were an honest attempt to be helpful I am thinking it would have come either in the form of an established account or a private e-mail. Leading me to believe this was done in an effort to be mean and hurtful which is shameful. Otherwise I challenge you to REVEAL YOURSELF! I don't know who the original poster was...but I followed the provided links... It is probably unlikely that anyone from the foundation would ever see your coins...but if they do, it looks like this may be a problem... It's being handled, thanks.
  7. Geowoodstock 5 One of the largest geocaching events there is (I think) It moves around so far to a different location each year. This year it's in Raleigh North Carolina. check out www.geowoodstock5.com
  8. How many monkeys does it take to find this cache?
  9. I was checking my radar of caches and saw an icon I had never seen before, , so I was wondering about this coin. Anyone have any info?
  10. Bella got her second special package yesterday! It contained a caching pill coin (if only this would work for my cold), Cache is King! (Love all of Chris's designs) & the cute Monopoly coin! Thanks so much secret pal!
  11. Sorry it's actually shiny gold. Reflections.
  12. BB, do you have a picture of the polished silver edition of yours?
  13. Nah, not niave. My last name is Wicks, it's one of my works...course if you search it on the net it is a candle company. I joked with my husband when we got married that I should open a candle company.
  14. A little over a year ago (12/25/05) I got my first GPS, shortly thereafter I found the forums, and yep my first geocoin and thus these forums. Everything looked so fun I wanted to dive right in head first. Of course as everyone knows Geocoins are not something you can really dive head first into. I wanted my own coin, but then found out just how expensive it can be to have one. Add to the die fees trackability and icons and whoa, we're talking a lot of money. Ever since then I have wanted to design a fun, generic but personalizable coin. Hopeing to make something affordable in smaller quantities for those wanting to dip their toes into geocoins before the full head first dive. So long story short I worked with Steve of HogWild Stuff and came up with Birds of a Feather. Here are the first samples. I don't have any idea who else is having them made, but I think they came out beautifully and I can't wait to trade for some!
  15. What do the other sides of them look like? Scalely?? The other side forms a map of the world, or rather portions of a map of the world. It wasn't easy to fit all the continents on such an odd shape.
  16. Our signature coin is NON trackable, and always will be, I don't need an icon! I do occasionally participate in other coin projects and since UOTrackers is our presence on these forums, that's the name I use. I think I'll be changing that soon though! I love coins trackable or not, I love the thought put into them, especially when they tell a story about the person(s) they represent.
  17. When they are ready they will be sold through Hog Wild Stuff! They have an email alert I believe, you can sign up for it!
  18. I know what it is but I'm not giving the answer away I already gave it all away, actually it was guessed, I just confirmed it with a larger picture, look up above!
  19. thanks!! and nice trick!! Congratulations, I don't know what I did wrong, but it kept spitting it out as not in the system, even now activated, I can't find it to watch it's travels.
