I have 5 caches I can no longer take care of and would like to turn them over to someone else. I don't want to just archive them . Is there a process that I can use to find a new owner and give then access to the listings ?

Interesting topic indeed. I am new to Geocaching and using my eTrex Venture HC. I did a set of new hides recently and had to go back to one of them because I forgot to leave a log in it. Using my coord.s and knowing exactly where it is I went right to the spot. My eTrex showed me being 10 feet away even though I was standing exactly on the hiding spot. That got me wondering about the accuracy of these things. Another thing I have been wondering about is is it worth it trade up to a better model of GPS if accuracy doesn't get any better. Are the extra features worth the cost ?

I am new to this and don't know what is really appropriate to put inside a cache aside from the log and the intro note. I've seen all kinds of what I would call toy junk. The only thing I've ever seen of any real value was a $1.00 lottery ticket. I liked that idea and will be carrying some with me from now on when I go caching. I don't know what the purpose of all the dollar store crap is. It's not really anything anyone would want to keep or to trade. So what is the consensus here? What are good items to leave whenI start to hide my own and what are good to leave in the ones I find ?

As a noob here I've gone through this thread to see what makes a bad container. Where's the thread for what make a good container ?
