do I feel stupid! many thanks. It takes lots of clicks on my garmin e trex legend but it does do it.I guess this isnt totally accurate or there wouldnt be all that complcated stuff written about it! One thing I did gather (I think) is that as well as changing to British grid, you need to change the map datum to OSBG instead of WGS 84. There is no mention of this is the instructions but it seems to make it more accurate - am I right? K Senrab

Can anyone give me step by step instructions for doing this, starting with the lat long in the format that is on geocaching .com and ending with a grid ref relating to a pink os map? i have spent time googling and reading stuff on forums but get stuck with the formats of long/lat or grid ref k senrab

We have now hidden our first cache. several peple have found and logged it successfully In the meantime i have found a geocoin in another cache. can i place this in my own cache- - to encourage others to visit my cache and because I'm short of time and know you are supposed to move coins/bugs on promptly....
