Hi all - anyone have experience in connecting the basic Garmin yellow Etrex to a windows 7 computer? My desktop still has a serial port, but the laptop does not. I see the physical cable is readily available, but is there software required and is this straight forward? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I think you'll find those are the child waypoints - eg. the main cache waypoint as given at the top of the cache page and the others are the additional waypoints given lower down on the cache page.

Works for me, thanks for the workaround! Tried again - on my desktop it installs okay, but on my laptop, also running Firefox, when I hit the install button it still comes up with code???
