I have a chance to purchase a Magellan GPS 315 or a etrex basic (Yellow). I know that the magellan retails for about $40 to $50 dollars more, but not taking that into account, which is better?

I have a few Nikon coolpix 775 cameras i am trying to get rid of. My old company went out of bussiness and I got them for a great price.
