My suggestion is this... Drop the quail... Move the California Geocoin 2006 to the area where the quail is and drop Geocoin out of it. If someone doesn't know it's a geocoin... Where the California Geocoin 2006 was... place "From the highest peaks..." I don't think it looks as good with both parts on one side. Since only one area is represented on each side.

Here's a sneak peak at my new wooden nickel I'm working on. Not quite complete... but it's the first complete one that I've made of this design... will be similar and all will have a unique number.

I have to agree... without "From the highest peaks..." the "to the lowest valleys" looks out of place.

The difference between this coin and the majority of the coins sold though is this... this one is activated while the others aren't.
