The Halo trackables are just now being mailed out. I received the envelope in the mail yesterday, but it ripped open in transit and the trackable is gone. I will have to find one in the wild.

Is anyone else having trouble with the Groundspeak newsletter? For the past two weeks - since the new format appeared -- there are NO caches listed under the new caches section. Surely someone has hidden a cache within 100 miles of my location. Also, for several weeks the newsletter no longer arrives on Thursday. Some weeks it is six days late, if it arrives at all. What's going on?

I like the idea of commemorating the first cache in each state or country. One of my earliest finds was Missouri's first. I still haven't found St.Louis' first, since I'm saving that one for a persinal milestone cache. Finding the first cache in each state would be a fun personal goal. -- Tribble157

Hi. I'm a female geocacher. I was looking for a "hobby" that would be a diverson while I transitioned from the engineering world to ordained ministry. That was two years ago. I don't get out as often as I would like, but I welcome the excuse to take a walk in the woods.

Being a lurker isn't so bad. I read the forums infrequently, and don't take time to reply. I'm trying to hang out in the forums a little more often. There are things I can learn here, or at least find some cheap entertainment. I simply haven't felt that I have anything to add to the discussion. Now that the ice is broken, maybe I'll comment more often. -Tribble157
