thank you everybody. love the replies. the mendecino coast would be ideal and i have looked at the Russion River as well I don't have any logged under my name but we found 15 in our first two days under my Fam's username. I looked into Wherigo thinking that there would be some pre-made themed adventure but it doesn't seem to be panning out.

Of course it's the correct thing to do! Sad that a lot don't. I just started and thought it would be fun to go get a sack of goodies like a signature item. we left lucky frog figurines from Puerto Rico until we ran out.

I am trying to use my Blackberry for geocaching but it doesn't seem to work very well. the i-phone works great but this is the phone I have. can you offer suggestions?

I am new to this but tried it with my nephew (10) Mom and sister. we would like to plan a short trip somewhere around the bay area and do some caching. we were thinking of camping or something around Christmas. any ideas?
