I contacted Thales Navigation and they seem to know about the problem. They suspect that a batch of programs are messed up and they are willing to replace my program as soon as the new batch comes out. They have invited me to San Dimas ( about 30 minutes away) and will download the program map to my GPS. It is a temporary fix, but is better then nothing. Hopefully I can work with it until a good batch is made and sent to me. Thanks for input and suggestions.

Purchased 3D Topo program for new Explorist 600, but can not load fro PC. Progam loads okay, but when I try to activate or run - PC will not recognize third disk. Sent program back once with same results. Is it me or are there problems with this program.

I did and Thales Navigation sent me another, but had the same results. Can I download a good topo from the computer without this program?

I am new to GPS and am having trouble getting started with a new exporist 600. The basemap is not very good so I ordered a the 3D topo from Magellan. It loads into the PC, but I can not bring it up as the PC will not recognize the third disk when I try to run program. Anyone had similiar problem.
