  3. Hi Longitude, nRoute only works with maps in IMG format. The new GMAP format cannot be used by nRoute. So you have to convert the GMAP format to the old IMG format using http://members.ziggo.nl/zumo/cne2009_multilang.html Regards - Anton

  7. In normal mode the icon should not show up on the desktop. Only in mass storage mode the inserted storage card should mount on the Mac OS desktop. yes - but not with all features. On the Windows side you can update the "Trip & Waypoint Manager" to the nomal Mapsource program. On the Mac side you have to use MapInstall for installing maps on the GPSR. Regards Anton
  8. Hi Bill, as Motorcycle_Mama said - there is no memory card in the Vista C and there is no internal map memory in the Vista Cx or Vista HCx. The only difference is the connection mode - Garmin or MassStorage mode. If you connect the Vista in Garmin mode you can select the Vista but the map memory is only on the storage card. If you connect the Vista in MapStorage mode you can select the storage card from MapInstall or from MacOS Finder. Regards - Anton

  11. hi juancarlososorio, there is no Mac software to view the maps from a GMAPSUPP.IMG btw: Garmin's IMG format is just a Disk Image format like DMG or PCK on the MacOS But you can install VirtualBox from sun.com for free and use any kind of Windows without the need to reboot your Mac. If you are interested I can explain you the process of getting the map onto the Mac. You have to: - install a VM and Windows (or restart with BootCamp and Windows) - expand the detail maps from the original GMAPSUPP.IMG - register the mapset in Mapsource 6.13.7 on the Windows Installation - convert the mapset to the new .GMAP format for Mapsource 6.14.1 (Windows) or RoadTrip (Mac OS) - install the mapset on the Mac and use RoadTrip from Garmin to view the map Regards Anton
