I am looking into creating a new group to fall under the Buildings Category, being Interesting Post Offices. There are historical post offices to even Santa's Post Office, which I actually found! Looking to get this one out there! Tim

I believe there are more caches there because the weather is better. Most people are not as enthusiastic geocaching in the rain, except the true outdoorsman/outdoorsperson (politically correct version). I've been to both coasts and it is better out west for the explorer, which is why I love the west coast.

I can't tell by just a last name as I know a few McNeil(s). But, I can't recall one being an officer.

I am in the Navy here in Halifax, NS. Good idea to see this poll.

Are there any Charter Members in Nova Scotia? If you are a member please let me know. Maybe something in the future. I would like to place a large cache with some value for members.

When placing a cache, can there be one too close? I recently placed one to later discover there is one approximately 100M away. OOPs!! SHould I leave it there or move it to another location. This cache placement can allow some to do two in a day or more if they want to. What do you think?

It is a bit disheartening when you are trying to get others interested in the sport and when you get there, your friends think it was a waist of time. I do tell them it is for the adventure, but the kids don't see it that way. We are not saying to stock the caches so that you are broke, but to place things that are useful. In the cache that I am placing in the very new future, I have placed some school supplies and toys for the kids. Let’s go and make things better!!

I recently picked up a travel bug without knowing the tasking it had while visiting Ottawa. I later found out that it was heading west when I was heading back to Halifax, therefore I figured it should be returned to the same cache "Ottawa Airport #1". I normally check the tasking before heading out, but not this time. I believe we should keep to the tasking at hand and try to move the travel bug in the direction desired, unless it has no specific task but to travel to as many caches as possible. This is my thought anyway...

You seemed to get the know how to get there. Can you tell me how as well. I am a Charter Member as well.

I'm trying my best to keep it going. I have done three in the past week. It is still new to me as I have just started a week ago. I will be doing it while I head to Winnipeg this summer. As long as there are caches out there, I'll be looking. I plan on hiding one soon or when I get back (Nova Scotia).
