I was doing the same thing at a cache along I-74 about 30 miles south of indy. It was really a pain!

If it's there, i'll probably find it. That said, I don't like high muggle situations. I'd rather they all be at least somewhat secluded. Cemetery caches are great since they're often secluded and you don't look like some sort of bomber looking around there. My favorite leans more toward the hikes, but those have been near impossible lately it seems. If it's not -15 windchill it's a foot of snow.

I would agree with archiving the water towers but not any of the other ones. But it's the owner's choice.

I found a few, and the ones on water towers concerned me. The others didn't seem inferior, they were at interesting enough locations. Wasn't a walmart parking lot. They were overrated a tad bit for lampposts, but otherwise quality caches.

The first mile and a half is pretty bad but after that its 4 lane highways the whole way. Have to be in indy at 9am for the event there than head down 74 away from the waist deep snow.

Doobies and myself should be there. We're looking to escape the 16" of snow (with 3 foot drifts) that is sitting on the ground here. Makes it difficult to cache . Hows the weather in Cincinnati? I know you got less snow than us.

The reason I suggested moving is Groundspeak clearly does not want this discussed here. The thread was started by GCHound and therefore he has the right to close it. So long as it's civil, you can start another thread.

It would certainly be no trouble to pick up 22 before going to the vault, but I'd like to get there early, so best to stick with 1080something. Theres a couple right on the way, and one it looks like we'll walk by on the way to the vault.

Exactly. Since it was in europe it nearly doubled my cache to cache distance.

I did log an armchair webcam at one time (although it was designed to be that way to begin with). I wound up deleting the find because it screwed up all of my stats.
