  1. That was the other option I forgot to post (oops)
  2. I assume you take a mobile phone out with you? Is it a smartphone like a HTC or Blackberry? (There are loads of others too) If so there is loads of software out there you can download to your phone depending on make that takes the info from GC or GSAK
  3. At the risk of going O/T.... Although not resident in Wroxham, That cache was on my hit list (along with placing a few as my in-laws are based there so visit regularly) so it would be nice to see that re-instated and I would help out where I can.
  4. I agree with all the other posters above. The only comment I vaguely have with groups caching is with DNF's. As a cache owner I have had a few groups DNF one my caches (it was a tricky hide and was in place at the time). Now very quickly you can have all 5 of the previous logs filled with DNFs when it was all done at the same time. Now ultimately you could argue that there is 4 or 5 independent cachers looking together so what difference does it make. Just another perspective on the matter, but as a previous poster has stated when it gets anal about posting its time to get out!!
  5. TBH I find it great for paperless caching. I cancelled my subs for a while after my daughter was born and there was no time for caching but now I get back out there it makes it so much easier. ~edit sorry duplicate, forum threw a wobbly!

  7. Good factsheet!! I am Scout Leader of the 8th Burgess Hill Scout Troop, along with Tootsies Trackers. We promote geocaching with the scouts and a number of them have done some of our local caches and we did have a TB that got washed away in Florida Floods! Anyway, I did notice a typo on page 4 of the scouting factsheet where it gives a list of functions that a GPSr might want to have, it states WASS instead of WAAS Cheers Mark
