  1. From my cache GC73D3: May 8, 2005 by robngill (181 found) We were there...the cache was not...logging it as found anyway....lol. If I don't, it breaks up the checkmarks on the main page and we can't have that....lol.
  2. I sent the June 26 Globe and Mail link to them 3 times - no response of any sort.
  3. This is the third article since June 26th, that has not shown up in the "Geocaching in the News" link on the Geocahing.com homepage. Is it because they're Canadian articles?
  4. Not really. I saw a B52 to the SW. Heard 3 sonic booms and watched 3 high contrails over the North end heading E-W which made tight 180s back W-E repeat several times. I was only up there 90 minutes!
  5. Thanks rusty_tlc, I'll give that a try. BTW, no box or even a log book let alone trade items involved. I did not find a summit log anywhere.
  6. Hello Nevada Cachers! On April 20, 2004 I placed a "Mystery" type cache on Tikaboo Peak. I thought that the cache would be pretty much maintenance-free and therefore not a problem. However, the cache is not going to be approved because I do not live in the area. (I've just learned that we're not even supposed to do Virtual Caches unless you reside in the area too.) So, I'm looking for a volunteer who can "carve in stone / sign in blood" that they would be willing to maintain the cache or possibly even adopt it if that's what it takes. Please e-mail me at radcan_geo@hotmail.com for more details if you can help turn this trash into a GeoCache. And THANKS for all the GREAT caches I visited April 18 - 21 !!!

    Calgary cachers

I skim here sporadically. I guess that's sorta obvious as it took me a YEAR (since I've been caching) to find this post!
  9. You guys have done a lot of good work on this. Good luck with your race! Just thought I'd let you know that there currently is a Canadian TB race that's been underway for just about a year. The Canadian GeoCannonball Run [This message was edited by radcanhig on May 06, 2003 at 08:57 AM.]
  10. I've been trying import Mapblast routes into ExpertGps but have been totally unsuccessful! Has MapBlast discontinued or changed the LAT -LONG aspect of their routing information. Also, the link to the instruticons for using Mapblast at the ExpertGPS site is broken. I'm thinking this feature has disappeared because of Mapblast.
  11. Check out the log entries for Aug 24 and 25 in GC4115
