So there is a dc power cord. Great. What do you mean it plugs into the usb cord? Did you get it at the gps store? What about car mount acessories and a case? Now I am pissed, I have mine ordered from Tiger for about 45 days and I still dont have it!

Yea I knew that it did not charge the batteries. Just wanted to make sure I could run off of a DC power cord instead of batteries only. As far as a charging circutry for AA batteries in the GPS..........How nice would that be. That was at the top of my list for my Meridian Color. I guess it falls under the same why question as a removable memory card for Garmin.

Hey Embra Any possibility you can email me the info. That is one thing that drives me crazy. Take the laptop with you and you haveto have the CD with you. Grrrrrrrrrr

I have had a XL ordered for about 6 weeks. It hasnt been shipped yet. Wish it would hurry. Went to Bass Pro yesterday and they have them in stock. Pretty large screen. My question is about DC power. Does anyone know if there is a DC charger for them? For that matter is there any acessories available for them because I am not finding any. I am sure the acessories will follow soon. But if I cant use a DC charger on it I will probally cancel the order. Surely they dont expect you to just run battery power only............would they? Anyone know?
