Well... i am a lurker for sure. It just seems that sometimes you don't ask questions because you are scared someone will want to take your head off. Some of the people on these board are just down right mean.

I think it is perfectly fine to let someone know about prices.. as long as it is done in a tactful manner. Sometimes it is just the way people "say" things on the boards. It is hard to be able to know how to take things without the voice inflections and pauses. I say just think about the way to say it, then you should send a PM. If the cacher is a "real" cacher then they will act accordingly. If they don't you can take it from there. They at least need one chance to make it right before you "out" them. Sometimes noobs don't know, and here on the forums they can do their research with real people who have a little more experience. We sure don't want to scare off any future cachers by stating something that could easily be misconstrued. do we????? "To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world."

Just wondering if somone can explain how to upload pictures in the forums? I am trying to sell a GPS but don't have the option to upload the pic..even using my control panel.

I have just upgraded to a Legend and have no use for two units. Never had any problems with the Explorist 200, just wanted to be able to download. This is 'like new'.. it has NO scratches or marks. It even has the original screen protector still on it. Not used very much..still in perfect working order. Don't have the original box (thanks to moving) I will provide a picture if needed. I am selling this unit for $90, which includes priority mail shipping to US ONLY (sorry). I don't have a paypal account, so money orders only please. Item will ship the day I recieve payment

ok...I don't know if this is the correct forum for this but here it goes... I just purchased a new Dell computer with Windows Vista. I also just upgraded my GPS from a Magellan 200 to a Garmin Legend. My problem is this... the Legend came with a serial adapter and not a usb so I am unable to connect to my computer to download waypoints (which is the whole reason I upgraded to Garmin). Of course Garmin has a resolution to this problem with a USB to RS232 converter cable that is $59.99. There has to be a cheaper way to do this.....any ideas which cables are compatable with Vista??????????

ok, new to geocaching...just purchased a Magellan eXplorist 200..is there a way to enter what lat/long you want to go to?? Don't know if I should have spent the extra money on a Garmin Legend....any help is appreciated
