It only 159 for me, of which I have found 130. Interesting that there is only one cache within a mile of my home and I own it! Really hurts my stats., as I can't get the under 1 mile stat.

Ever come across people REALLY enjoying the outdoors?

Isn't one of the reasons to Geocache is what you get to see? -
Power Trail Attribute - Please!
captnemo replied to DragonsWest's topic in General geocaching topics
I agree. I have had this problem on trips and the only way I found around it was to exclude micros, works but not the best way. As I live near a power trail that I really don't wish to find, I've had to add them, one by one, to my ignore list. So Lilly Pad please give us an attribute. -

Love Barney Smith and his cache and View Carre is right up there too but I agree has to be the Necropolis of Britannia Manor III.

+1 except I use a pencil because the ink won't go dry in it.

NOW THATS FUNNY LOL I have a cache that is a mile or so from the start of a power trail. Every so often someone drops a film can and fails to find the cache or sign the log. I make a point of checking the log book against the on-line logs and delete the log for any throw downs.

Custom Cache Container WIP and questions
captnemo replied to u1bd2005's topic in General geocaching topics
If the lens is removable, put the log behind it and put a message on the front of the lens stating "remove lens to log" -
I use my NUVI 2595LT to get to the area and for the paperless caching, then I use my 12 yr. old Garmin GPS V and a compass to zero in on GZ.

It is definitely a world record for biggest and longest powertrail of all time with the most amount of new hides dumped on one area at once. It ranks up there as perhaps one of the greatest achivements of mankind! You didn't dig nor do the finders have to dig so your OK. I have found many such hides but without the Geocaching logo on the cap, which isn't the cache so the cap doesn't need a label just the cache itself on the end of the wire.

Great to hear.

Entitle the COs who place a cache with no intentions of maintaining it??? My experience with Scout caches is that, in most cases, no maintenance is planned. Hide cache. Get patch. All is good. Naw. NM. Right on HD. This cache screams for a NA

Let's see, the cost of the paper and ink and not even considering the cost of the smart phone service would come really close to the $30 cost of a premium membership!

Started in April 2002 and enjoy it as much now as then. On my 10th anniversary I placed two caches went back to the first one I found (it's in great shape still) and resigned the log then went caching with the 1st Mate.

Id love to ask the owners - what's up? why? what are you thinking? that the best you can do? Yes, I have a few ideas of my own. They are pretty good in fact... thanks for the help! Dale Carnegie: How to Win Friends and Influence People: "Nope don't do it." I've made some fairly innocuous comments that got some rather nasty replies from COs. HD is right
